  • After pitching for the Expos, Mariners, and Astros, Randy Johnson joined the Diamondbacks in 1999 and went on to have perhaps the greatest 4 year stretch any pitcher's had. He struckout 300 batters in each season with an era below 2.5. Good enough to win the Cy Young in 4 straight seasons while starting the all-star game in 2 of those years and winning World Series MVP in 2001 and striking a bird with a fastball.
