  • This performance is a translation of my feeling when seeing the current international problems. I feel a sense of urgency right now because there is a lot of attention on social media. Because of the emotions by this, we get conflicts about conflicts. It is important to look for a path to freedom and love for everyone. Music, dance, singing and other forms of art can have a connecting effect, and this has been the case for a long time. Let's use that power. People hurt each other, that is a very far cry from love. For me, love is the source from which I live. That's why I would like to share as much love as possible through everything I do now. That gives me the feeling that sharing and giving love for yourself and your environment can make a huge difference.
I would like to build a bridge between these social problems and organizations through art education, because my motivation lies in my fight for justice. I cannot stand to see people living in suffering, people living in despair, children in pain while they are in the purest form of flourishing in their lives.
This fighting spirit arose in me from my Indonesian and Kurdish origins because my family, ancestors and I have been affected by the current situation in Kurdistan and the history of Indonesia. The Kurds have currently been living in a genocide for years, the living conditions of the Kurds are not safe. And this is how my ancestors lived during the time of the VOC, the traumas of which are still being passed on. I take the vulnerability, fighting spirit and culture that comes with this with me when I dance, teach and choreograph.
This performance is aimed at education and social organizations.
