Just approached an Icelandair checkin lady to ask for a little help because I had never done the checkin self service bag drop. This was today at 12:15. A young blonde lady who was doing absolutely nothing. After asking her for a little advice in a very charming way I was told in a very rude and dismissive way to go to the Play air desk. She was really very rude and not in any way a good advertisement for Icelandair. My father set up the London office in the 1950s and ran it with great pride for over 30 years. In the flight form Iceland to France. One of flying attendant's hip spilled hot coffee on my legs. And later she gave me two Chocolate bars saying sorry with smile. And I told her that choco bar never solve anything. you should have asked me If I didn't get hurt. then she was offended and said 'okay'. ..! I was sitting in the first low. and the agent was sitting directly in front of me, stretching her legs and giggling with other agent. Is that something like cultural difference or just insane thing? I do understand they do have different CS mind regarding economic, social circumstances or more. but. this.. IDK. Racism?
