      @@IRosameliayou're wrong but I can see where you're confused , our family lost my Nephew to Fentanyl and he knew what he was putting into his arm it was his drug of choice. There are pill users like Xanax, coding, and purcocet not sure I spelled the last one right... You need to know this in case you have a friend or someone you know, Lots of people think they know how to use and handle Fentanyl so they make it their choice of drug use. In NY last month these parents took their little one year old son to daycare and they got the phone call that their son was being rushed to the hospital, 4 more little babies were also rushed to the hospital also, the little boy died and the 4 other children were fighting for their lives ( they are better now) it was Fentanyl poisoning. The daycare worker and her boyfriend were selling it and she let the boyfriend bring it into the daycare and she helped him bag it up and the children had it in their skin because of the worker or inhaled it IDK . You can look it up, also there are fentanyl labs just like meth labs, I just learned about the labs yesterday.

    My deepest condolences to your & Marissa Stepfather. Unfortunately I to lost my son on December 29th,2022 one day before Marissa’s passing. And he to died as a result of fentanyl toxicity! I’m devastated most days it’s difficult to even get up!! It’s only by Gods grace & mercy that I’m able to go on. I really want to do something in the city where I live but I don’t even know how or where to stay. If anyone that reads this can share some insight on how or where I can start in my city I would appreciate it! Again my most heartfelt condolences 💐

    My son has overdosed on Fentanyl and was brought back my Narcan. Rehab after rehab and he still uses. My son is 23 and has two little boys. He just lost his two best friends within two months of each other from Fentanyl overdose, but he still uses. I hope no one has to prepare their self to bury their child. My heart breaks.

    • @TexasPictures
      @TexasPictures  Год назад

      Naloxone is the active ingredient in Narcan and is also available in many generics as a nasal spray. In fact, the brand name Kloxxado delivers a higher dose of naloxone than Narcan (Kloxxado-8mg per dose, Narcan-4mg per dose). Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available in the brand name Narcan or generic versions available for free.
      It is important to recognize that Naloxone is the drug, Narcan is just a brand name. Whenever someone uses the word "Narcan" in place of "naloxone", they're devaluing all the other equally effective brand options and promoting a specific pharmaceutical company.

    Thank you for getting the message out there about fentanyl and narcan. I worked as a counselor in treatment centers and trained medical personnel at homeless nursing homes how to use narcan and not two days went by after the training, and a nurse used narcan to save someone. Narcan should be in every home and with all first responders. It should be everywhere. Thank you for the advocacy you're doing on behalf of your lovely daughter. I'm so sorry for your loss.
