Thanks for your feedback, unfotunately i don't own such a device, so I'm just looking around with I Smartphone in the hands instead 🤣 (of course this doesn't feel very high tech) anyhow, a friend of mine owns the Quest 2 so hopefully one day I'll check it out there!
@@S-LAB-TV I've been looking at some other 360 videos on the headset and was wondering how well the new X4 would work. From your video, it seems to work quite well....at least as good as many older videos which were probably shot on cameras that were more expensive. I'm looking forward to making some of my own.
Hi Andy, thank you for your comment! I'm glad you liked the video. Since I am not aware with which software you are working I don't think I could give you an appropriate answer. In case you're using Insta360 studio app 2024, they now have a video editor integrated. Or if you're using any other video editor, the principle is universal and almost always the same: Just add an additional audio track in which to add your music. So in essence, whichever video editing software you are using: you might just go find any tutorial on youtube to explain you how to add track into your project. Did that make sense to you? Else, please formulate your question more precise. Best wishes!
Hi! Of course, I imported the footage into a video-editor (Vegas Pro) and then added an additional Track (layer) on top of the original footage, where I added in png-files with transparency, containing the text. Each png with text contained 3 fields of text with the same information, so that the viewer would be able to see the text at 3 different spots at the same time. all that, before i rendered out the video and injected the 3D-information again, in order to make it a proper 360° video again
@@S-LAB-TV thank you!!! OK, I understand: how can I achieve 4K quality in INSTA360 Studio? and where can I find the 360 degrees that I need to inject.
@@smartfilmstudio1 it is better if you achieve MAXIMUM resolution. for example if you recorded 5.7K you will loose a lot when exporting only in 4K the Injector you find here: github.com/google/spatial-media/releases but possibly it is not required for you, depending on with which video editor you are going to work on in post ...
@@S-LAB-TV Hello, thank you for your detailed answer... it sounds a bit complicated to me. I used to do 360 degree VR with 6 GoPros in a RIG. It was easier to get the VR video... what was more difficult was getting the stitching right. the maximum resolution is of course more interesting for me
@@S-LAB-TV Even after 8K has been transcoded by RUclips, It also may depend on the browser being used to be able to view 8K (e.g. some versions of Edge will not show 8K as being available [when it is]).
OK, I have subscribed, now (please) do me a favor ... ... compare the X4 sharpness settings (please). Contrary to general camera history and contrary to Insta360 X4 info, I am getting better results with sharpness set to high. So I am trying to find out if anyone else is too, or if I am screwing up with the low and/or medium, settings. Thanks.
Thanks so much for your comment. I will of course do a detailed comparison between both the X3 and X4 in the style of this video: jw3B9Yqahzs (you will find it once you look for this code in the search function of RUclips) On the other hand there is a video which has a specific chapter comparing the different sharpness modes of the Ace Pro: WV0OBv5qqOc maybe that helps already as an orientation. For large screens I prefer definitely the medium sharpness. Any additional sharpeness level is anyway already some kind of extra compression - away from what the sensor originally delivers. So in essence the less sharpness you apply, the more options you are going to have in post production I will do my best to come with the results you're looking for - fast
Hi How can I upload a video in 8k resolution to RUclips? I tried a lot but I did not succeed. The maximum resolution gives me 4k. I have the same camera that you have. How were you able to upload this video in 8k format?
It's pretty simple you just have to wait two or three days or 8k to be rendered out fully by RUclips. In case still nothing happens after two or three days just write an email to the support, they will restart the process. Rendering 8K takes much longer then HD or 4k!
Hello, can you please help?! I record with X4 and want to present VR video like this on RUclips, how did you do it. Is it ok to export in the insta360 app as 360 degrees and then send it to YT or do I have to do more???
Hi, maybe just have a look at my answer regarding the comment from @ravitalele1149 and there was one more answer pointing into this direction if I remember correctly. So basically it's all already in the comments, the footage I used to put into Vegas, has been exported via insta360 Studio 2024 before as: 360° video! Hope that helps. Or do you think it is necessary to create such a video as an explanation one day? Best wishes!
Disappointing how bad the footage is from this "game changing, world class 8K, super clear camera". Mimmicks exactly what footage I have shared. ProRes422HQ, Max render quality etc.. everything out of camera already looked bad, knew it was going to be bad once put on youtube. Thanks for sharing and that's a beautiful area.
Hi tapped out, did you really crank up the resolution to 8K on RUclips? Because looking at the full 8K resolution I'm actually quite positive regarding the results. Because, of course we should be aware, that this 8K resolution is distributed over a 360 degree space! Resulting in the fact, that possibly when you look at a cut out out of this 360 degree space you might be confronted only with something like an HD-resolution. But this, in return, is not a downside of the camera but the nature of the technical configuration of a 360 degree video itself ... The Ace pro for example with its full 8K resolution available at 24P delivers quite stunning results: Xqew8V1nxQI Or in Case you might complain about the blown out highlights, then you might compare this video to 5.7 K HDR here: rfLykA4TTCc HDR-mode performs way better with the highlights but of course at cost of the missing resolution. I would definitely like to understand better what was your complain and by the way - thanks for your honest comment regarding the footage!

RUclips tells it is an 8K video, but I get only 4K!
As I mentioned here: 1:24 the full 8K rendering may take a while - pls come back in a few hours or days to watch in full resolution!
