As many of you know this is a reattempt at the original walkthrough I played back in 2018. Due to the small size of the text and scale it was very hard for mobile users/small screens to tell what was going on. In this version I played at a more appropriate scale so you can actually tell what’s going on.
RUclips only allows 12 hour videos (this was well over 14) so I had to edit this down significantly in order to keep it within those parameters. Luckily, I only had to speed up the map travel, cut out the grinding/non-important fights, and speed up bartering/inventory management. If you want the uncut version you’ll just have to watch the individual episodes off the playlist. All dialogue and quests were kept in so luckily I didn’t have to sacrifice anything story related.
Time stamps are in the description (special map encounters included) along with links to the playlists and former longplay too. Enjoy!

      Hello.
I just want to say, thanks for doing this.
The last walkthrough was a big effort, and many probably weren't waiting for this, which is always welcome.
Maybe many other will play the classic games with videos like this (Which could become a refuge from the actual situation in gaming to some people and with the risk of looking near to utopic, it could make people remember what is a good videogame, and make a change), and others will try the max difficulty, which is truly a challenge.
      Again, thanks for this effort.

@@doomtrooper3184 of course. Always a pleasure to entertain those that stop by the channel. I actually get a comment here and there about newcomers to the series wanting to try it or some that only played 3, NV, ect. so they wanted to give the originals a go. Just have to keep the spirit of the classics alive and people will be drawn to it naturally.

Even though I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire is the Ink Spots song most associated with Fallout now, Maybe was the first. The franchise (especially the show) just blast 50s music constantly reminding you of the 50s ruining the immersion, while Fallout 1 only has Maybe and the song only plays in the beginning and the final cutscene, adding to the somberness instead of ruining the atmosphere.

It's tricky to justify since you need a good throw to ensure it doesn't go off the mark and it's rare you're in the dark. That being said, dropping them on the floor and leaving one active in the inventory mitigates that issue. Very useful for dealing with the deathclaw near the Hub.
