Disconnection as how to define sin. That makes sense! ~ Thank you so much, Elizabeth! X

My memory goes back to 4-5 years of age (60 years ago) - there was a nursery school in the next property and my Mother being a Montessori teacher (she did not start her school until our youngest sister was 4 years old) did not send me there - but had the Montessori tools at home. My morning routine was to roam around the village..first stop by the school where I would stare in through the bars as the kids at desks staring back at me - thinking I was free...and then I would stop by the Buddhist temple - hang out with the monk, then to the Carmelite Convent to ring the bell and Nun would give me some 'host' - which was tasteless but it was a fun ritual..then to the river - along the way collect Lady Bugs into a bottle...hang out by the carpenter's shop and watch him plain wood and make cabinets (I was so fascinated by that..)...I related to Dacher's childhood so much..as I now I live in Canada and travel in the US - so his story came alive in my mind this morning in your amazing podcast. Cheering you on...❤

When I add this conversation, and the one you had with John Vervaeke, I feel "fully alive". I can "feel" the meaning of your hypothesis, trying to bring up Religio as an a essence for life fulfilment. For me, the spirit is the manifestation of our being, the mind is the manifestation of our human side, and the soul is the "house" of both in time space, where we connect the self with the oneness. That's why I agree, relationship is fundamental for human beings. Ps. Sorry, I'm not a scholar in the subject, so it may sound preposterous.

Love this conversation..as I grew up in a village in the hill town of Kandy, Sri Lanka to parents who were teachers and philosophers..in a Buddhist home in a Catholic neighborhood - free to roam and explore in a safe place...I can see how it has shaped me to take the road less traveled with all the challenges of that..❤

Yes I agree US "racism" is nuanced ..as we spent a few days driving around in rural Texas from Dallas to Louisiana...stopping at restaurants, Dollar Stores, gas stations to find people who were deemed racist were so friendly and open to two South Asians ...so yes indeed ..it's about accepting that we are all a bit "racists" (conditioned as I saw the Black- White historocal separation) but also kind and compassionate people...who can change and evolve to accept differences through conversations . I would like to think that I changed a few minds through some friendly conversations we had with strangers on that Texas trip...❤

Wonderful word salad...can anyone define Awe, or Spirituality?? Take away the Feelings and the Semantics and you're left with...nothing.
