You can also use the green handle clamps for track saw rails. The yellow handle ones don't fit all the way in a track saw rail groove.

Another great informational video! Thanks. I have been pondering these for some time. The looked very useful but as with many shop tools you have stuff that while it doesn't do exactly what you want it does the job. After watching the video I decided these are the way to go! Again thanks a ton for the info!

I was hoping people would find it useful. I wish I had known before buying all the other style clamps.

You need to make an adjustable swing arm to hold your sander cord and hose above the bench top. No more catching on the edges

I have thought of that but I also have the vacuum hose to deal with.

@@ShopRamblings connect hose to arm too. I have a tie wrap that is loose enough to loop over my arm.

@@ShopRamblings I agree with you. Dovetails belong on jigs if used at all. Personally I prefer t-tracks or miter tracks on tapering jigs etc. I'd redo the bench top and get rid of them.

I have slowly spent more and more trying to find the best clamp for me. I think I found it. I just recently gave away all my other clamps.

I was never showed either lol, to me dog holes are the way, just more versatile..having said that I'm in the process of designing my new bench for dog holes, dint know about the green handles of micro jig, I got the yellow and its for a tapering jig on table saw...by the way i really like those small squares you featured, thanks for that my man, totally accurate with cool features...

I have a tapering jig. I also have a 3', 5', and 8' straighting jigs. They are much easier than a jointer. I am going to rebuild my table top or just fill in the groves with epoxy. Dogs on 4 in centers are definitely the way to go.

I think I’ll stick with C clamps at the edge of my nice flat bench.

That works great as long as you are close to the edge. I made sure to have a solid overhang on my bench so I could clamp around the edge.
