Gallop racer 2000 #1

I decided to try a new file because I put myself in a very bad hole especially with me not understanding how the game works. But with Playing Gallop racer 2001 recently (which is pretty much a 3d enhanced version of the game) I've come back to try this game again and see how I might improve and I must say I have a little and I have a better understanding of the game. I do wish I didn't race so poorly in the races though
Also if u guys have any suggestions tell me any information will help and be greatly appreciated
