I think having the soundtrack on during the ride makes it less intimidating in a good way. Instead of scaring your heart out, it hypes you up, which is appreciated when you're about to be flipped over backwards then forwards then backwards again.

I just love how the speakers cheekily say “gooooooing dooooown” as you drop, makes the ride so much funnier but so much scarier at the same time XD
It's a better usage of that sound clip than Rock n Roller Coaster and that had the involvement of the band that wrote it

Arrow stunk but this was one of their best coasters

Well some of those are good. Magnum is to rough to enjoy. The other ones were good. Too bad if you ride the majority like anaconda at KD or vortex at KI or viper at MM or Demon at GAM or their mine trains you would think diffrently

I LOVE THIS RIDE. I personally don’t think any ride is really scary after you’ve been on it, but I guess it can at first. The fear is turned into fun once you feel it

I’ll never forget when my dad took me (I was like 8) and this was one of the last rides we did that day. As I was about to step on, I saw a grown man crying as he was exiting the ride. I had never been more scared to ride a roller coaster in my entire life. Such a fun ride though

The drop is truly in a league of its own. Arguably one of the best drops in America.

Dude I was seriously so freaked out to get on this ride but it was NOT BAD at all. If you’re worried about it, don’t be. The lift hill is the scariest part. Just don’t tense up too much and it’s really not bad
Off ride it looks like it goes moderately slow but when you get on it, omg, nope. Loved it though, but since I’m a bit skinny my calf’s kept hitting onto the seat so they kinda hurt lol
same here it always happens when the train hits the brakes

Best frist drop I've ever experienced. I will also say this ride is very smooth and comfortable for the level of thrill
Honestly, I didn’t really have that drop feeling/ stomach drop on the first drop. But the whole ride was so much fun and I had a blast

The first time I went on this was back in 2011. I was 12, and really loved roller coasters. My entire family was visiting the park for the first time together. My dad took my younger brother somewhere else, and my mom, my older brother and I ventured on our own. The first ride we rode on was the Revolution. Prior to this, the only other Schwartzkopf coaster I've ever ridden was Montezooma's Revenge. After that, we went on Viper. Loved it. Then came X2. 1 hour and 20 minute wait, we get up to the loading bay. There's someone assigning riders to certain rows. We get to the attendant, and he says to us, "All right, guys. You're gonna be in rows 1 and 2." My 12-year old self got so excited because I was expecting to get a seat a few rows back due to the long line. During the ride, I was actually pretty calm, but my brother told me he was freaking out. Like screaming like a little girl freaking out. I don't remember what my mom said, but she enjoyed it too. Sadly, my dad didn't ride it, but he should've. Now, we live in Denver, and I currently work at Elitch Gardens as a catering supervisor, and the only Arrow coaster we have is the Sidewinder, a launched shuttle loop, which isn't always open due to not enough staff.
Make this vr on x2 so we can relive the flames and audio 😂👍

Been on 234 different coasters, that first drop is the favorite element on any coaster I've ever ridden. Only Velocicoaster's Mosasaurus Roll comes close.

When I went on it first time, we had to wait about an hour and a half, but when we got the loading station, I was shocked to hear the ride attendant there tell us to go to rows 1 and 2. The ride is definitely worth the wait.
Lucky. I was only able to ride once the day I went because the line was THREE HOURS LONG.
X I just rode it again last week and the line was 15 minutes too
Just rode this today and while the audio wasn’t working, it was still a fun ride! The only Arrow coaster that I legitimately enjoyed. Come at me haters. I will say they do need some smoothing on the turns, though!

I'm of the opinion that "best manufacturer" can't be one hated by a significant chunk of enthusiasts for pretty good reasons like shitty profiling, outdated ride experiences, cartoonishly inconsistent intensity (demonstrated in this video), and terrible restraints. of course nobody can take away your love for rusty arrow snoozefests and I think most of them should stay for a while

Unfortunately when it opened X2 turned out to be an unreliable mess riddled with problems, which mostly have been fixed now
@@hellacia8151 it was x at first, it got refurbished to be more reliable in 2008 and had a name chang to be x², I think you already knew this but alright.

Funny, cause the manufacturer of this ride is Arrow Dynamics.
I know. Also, the other reason is the car moves in an aerodynamic path, with the car going straight and the riders going the other way.
They should play that on Tron at Magic Kingdom

This should be #3 in my Top 10 Favorite Steel Coasters and my #1 favorite coaster of Six Flags Magic Mountain! I hadn't been on it yet nor been to SFMM yet. But I might go there in December along with Disneyland (the place I want to go to the MOST).
