今年は、東南アジアシリーズあたりから、ランキング上位ペアと互角に戦える程ラリー力がついていた。
最近では、スマッシュの威力が増して、岩永選手と中西選手のコンビネーション攻撃が強力になったと思う。
でも、ｽｰﾊﾞｰ300以上の大会で優勝したことかなかったから、かなり準々決勝とかネット引っ掛けのミスが目立った。それでも、決勝第３ゲームは、ネット前サイドと両サイドの奥をしっかり突いていた。
緊張する最後の21ポイントゲームで、ロングレシーブでラリーを組立て、隙をみて攻撃に転じるという、BIPROGYらしいゲームメイキング。中西岩永ペアのメンタル部分をも知り尽くした早川コーチの存在大きいかも。
