Just got it in the mid summer sale with PT5000 and glidelock just around $207.
The San martin water ghost v3 is the best value sub homage out there! Period. I agree tho all that's needed in them now is a Swiss movement.
I'd go with the pt5000, especially when that sellita is putting out poor numbers like that on the timegrapher. In my experience sellitas are always running a little too fast for their added cost. The miyota 9015 in my Tisell runs no worse than +5 spd.
If anyone wants a slightly larger sub homage, I recommend the 42mm Invicta, on a jubilee, for around £75 ,, mine runs around +2s a day. (NH35)..
I use it as my "stunt watch" lol...
If clomaging a Rolex Sub isn’t a must, the Glycine Combat Sub might be a better choice. Weaker lume and construction aside, the glycine is Swiss Made, has original design and a long heritage, all for about $350 USD from ashford.
The best no-date is the San Martin SN006-G. Lots of BGW9 Super-Luminova, PT5000, female endlinks, premium oyster bracelet and "the look".
Check my Top 10 Submariner Homages video. I didn't rate the San Martin, though I like their other watches.
@@JustOneMoreWatch yea, I saw that video and enjoyed it very much.
That chap was much shorter than you... I love that box! Is it a Chronos? Is it a San Martin? Is it a Steeldive?
Is Cronos and San Martin the same brand / factory? The certainly look like they are
The white date frame would probably look fine without the cyclops. The maxi case is hidious.
HELLOOOOOOO JODY!
This one's in the cart too! Perfect compliment to my This week is great for Ali finds. What do we get treated to next, I wonder?😎
The framed date window makes my eyes itch
Hellloooo from Melbourne! Another cracking review mate, You have the knack *-wipes KB-* for making us drool!
reckon the box around the date is an insurance policy so they can show a clear difference if challenged by a copyright owner
I'd buy one if they brought back the Conan font!
The one on the link provided has different logo.
This is a very nice submariner homage, shame I don't like the original:-)
Is it me or does the 6 o’clock baton lean slightly to the left?
Hi..great review again..QUESTION:who has the best jubilee for this homage or the Sanmartin?? I just bought the black/gold homage from Sanmartin..really want a jubilee on it...any suggestions? Thanks Mate!!
Have you tried the Tisell Sub homages? The Marine Diver and the Submersible
Tisell or Cronos? Will be watching to see if they drop the white frame on the date.
Just get a Casio Duro and call it a day.
Duro sapphire mod video coming soon.....
Get all 3! I did!
@@tornagawn then you're 1 short as there's a white dial version
Wearing my blue dial Duro as i read this. Best watch ever
When i bought my Casio Duro, i realized that no other watch could do it for me. Its original, looks fantastic, highly legible, reminds me of Bill Gates. I would pay double if they upgraded the lume, sapphire crystal and reduced diameter by 1 mm.
