Would this be compatible over 45 year old custom paint jobs. I’m sure it’s single stage but that was before my time. Don’t know what the airbrushers and custom paint guys used back then.. it’s starting to fade out, and even chalky in spots.. tryin to lightly scotch brite and use a transparent midcoat to bring some color back to it and clear for protection on this true survivor Corvette. Realize it’s not a perfect solution but the car was taken straight to the custom shop from the dealership and some of the best custom work I’ve seen. It was really really something back in the 70s. Just tryin to preserve it the best I can.

Word of advice if your just starting out striping be aware that this product dries fast so unlike one shot there's no going back in 10 minutes and wiping off mistakes you'll be wet sanding it's a great product but in my opinion only if your a pro

Can you pre mix the Carrier and reducer and then just add catalyst to what you need as you go to use it?

Excellent product but not available locally . If you are in a project and run out you are screwed.
Do not start with it if you do not have access locally. It is not available. Only online . . Product is excellent but I can not finish the job. really SUX. I will have to look for another system available. PPG? Eastwood? I will never use HOK again

HOK products are way too expensive! I can get the same results with other products from my locals automotive color suppliers
