Hey, I appreciate your channel and thoughts. I have a few questions:
Do you take John 14:6 literally where Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life--none shall come to the Father but by me."? Does this preclude other paths to salvation?
How do you feel about tools such as entheogenic/medicinal plants and astrology to commune with God and/or reveal His will for our lives? So not to predict future or w.e. but to help understand Gods will for our lives in the present. In my life I feel as though these things have at times helped me grow closer to God yet the scriptures are ambiguous and speak against divination.
Lastly, how do you feel about the concept of a divine spark, and panentheism--meaning God's essence and pure reflection also exists within us, and we can access this through spiritual purification, self mastery and reflection?

"Hey, I appreciate your channel and thoughts."
      Thanks!
"Do you take John 14:6 literally where Jesus says 'I am the way, the truth and the life--none shall come to the Father but by me.'? Does this preclude other paths to salvation?"
I take it literally but it doesn't preclude other paths. Jesus decides who goes to heaven, whether you are a Christian, Zoroastrian, Hindu, etc.
"How do you feel about tools such as entheogenic/medicinal plants and astrology to commune with God and/or reveal His will for our lives? So not to predict future or w.e. but to help understand Gods will for our lives in the present. In my life I feel as though these things have at times helped me grow closer to God yet the scriptures are ambiguous and speak against divination."
Divination is an occult practice. You don't need entheogenic/medicinal plants, astrology, fortune telling, etc, to understand God or to get closer to Him. Just studying scriptures and practicing spirituality is enough. It will lead you step by step to your purpose and understanding Him. You can't force that, which is what tarot card reading is all about, for example. It may seem to work because it will attract demons (and fallen angels) who will try to convince of that. Needless to say, it's fake. It only looks like it works. The more you get into it, the more it will drive you away from God and the Bible.
There are some practices that seem to be forbidden by the Bible but they are not and yet, they are interpreted as being forbidden by Christians today. Astrology is one of those practices. It has been used in the past to figure things out, but then knowledge of how to do that got lost. Nonetheless, while fun, astrology will also need lead you closer to God. Spirituality is all about improving yourself. Other than the Bible, no gadgets/tools are required.
"Lastly, how do you feel about the concept of a divine spark, and panentheism--meaning God's essence and pure reflection also exists within us, and we can access this through spiritual purification, self mastery and reflection?"
I mention panentheism in my programs podcast ("What Are Programs?"). Anyways, what you are talking about is what spirituality is all about: the spirit. The spirit is part of God and it's our true-selves. To improve ourselves, we need to focus on our true-self and outgrow our human purpose.

Thank you, truly appreciate it! I'm really drawn to the ways of my ancestors, the indigenous, who honored Great Spirit/Creator and saw creation as a sacred gift from Creator to assist us, i.e. plants. Plant medicine has helped me heal a lot of trauma, and especially open my heart to God/family again. Also, if we look at how the indigenous lived as faithful stewards of creation -- honoring community/family -- and compare this with the majority of society's engagement in capitalism and consumerism, rife with trauma and broken families, destroying our planet (imo a consequence of colonialism), it seems certain of the American indigenous were much closer to living according to God's law, the Garden of Eden design, if you will.
"Nonetheless, while fun, astrology will also need lead you closer to God."
      Could you clarify this phrase?
Appreciate your thoughts brother. God bless you ❤

      Glad I can help.
This is a little bit tricky. I need you to bear with me. The American indigenous people didn't/don't follow a false religion. Their religion is rooted in Shamanism and Paganism. There is only one problem with these types of religions: they haven't been updated. Only Hinduism has been updated. All other forms of Shamanism and Paganism have been deprecated. Shamanism was fine but then it got replaced by Paganism, which is harder to understand. Paganism was fine but then it got replaced by transtheist (i.e. Buddhism) and monotheist (i.e. Christianity) religions, which are harder to understand. A religion is a program that you follow. Living the native American Indian way is no longer possible today in many cases. The world is constantly changing, so an up-to-date religion is needed. Nonetheless, there is no need to throw all old traditions away. For example, plant medicine is fine for as long as you don't drug yourself or use it to communicate with spirits. See, in Shamanism, for example, the spirits of deceased relatives are honored. They are worshiped and that's fine if you are living in ancient times. Today, that's risky and might attract demons. When this was practiced, Satan was not allowed to go into the world to try to deceive people. That's why Satan almost doesn't appear in the Old Covenant/Testament. It were innocent times. The more people know about what's in the world, the more they are on their own to deal with it. Technically, when honoring the spirits of deceased relatives, you are in fact honoring God because spirits are part of God but demons like to pretend like they are those deceased relatives.
So my advice is to keep as many traditions of your ancestors as possible, but practice Christianity (or another up-to-date religion) on top of that.
      "Could you clarify this phrase?"
Oh sorry. I made a typo. I meant to say, "Nonetheless, while fun, astrology will also not lead you closer to God." Astrology is not forbidden by the Bible. In ancient times it was normal to practice astrology. Take the Zoroastrian priests who used astrology to find baby Jesus as an example. The Bible even confirms the legitimacy of astrology (i.e. Luke 21:25). Over time, knowledge of astrology waned and got lost. Today we no longer a system of astrology that we can use to get an idea of what's going to happen based on what we can see in the skies; and that's fine. It's not needed to progress spiritually, which is what matters the most.

My friend, I just want to say THANK YOU! Your words resonate deeply. Though I felt the truth in Christ, I also felt such a deep conflict over also feeling such deep truth in native indigenous spirituality and other religions, and fearing offending God if I didn't fully renounce that in favor of Christianity.
But this for me is such a peace. A homecoming. I am allowed to be a follower of both Christ and the red (indigenous) way of loving and honoring both the Great Spirit--our Father of Creation--and our mother Earth, His beloved creation whom is sacred and dearly cherished by Him.
It would be amazing if you made a video discussing exactly this. You will hit such a deep cord of resonance with those of multi-cultural ancestral lineage if you discuss these things. Everything you wrote in your last answer brought me great joy and peace, and I believe sharing exactly those words will bring great joy and peace to many like me, who feel at conflict embracing both Christ and their traditional ways ❤
I love and see you brother. You like I are a man who seeks after God's heart. We see eye to eye on many things. ❤

Sure. That might be a good idea 🤔.

I have seen people struggling with this. So I'm convinced that it will be worth investing time into creating a podcast about this. It will take a while before this podcast will be released but I have already begun writing a script (I always write a script first).

This completely contradicts Christ… you’re literally talking about teachings outside of Christianity. Absolute heresy. Presenting Hinduism as Christianity. Absolute insanity.

“Born again” (Christ’s own words) is only symbolic, right? That’s not in Christianity?
