There is no way that im quitting wuwa for zzz , but i will give zzz a chance , there is no reason to hate on another game and be blind about it , if kuro stans and hoyo stans are mad because i always call them out , i will always call them out , hating on another game before launch is what genshin fans did to wuwa , if wuwa fans do it to zzz , I will call it out .

Wuwa won my heart. They had lot issues but dev listen and fix and trying to improve and they take criticism well
For me personally, no. Wuwa is alot of fun and very refreshing to play in comparison to other gacha games. Plus ZZZ is not really my cup of tea. If other people choose ZZZ over Wuwa, that is totally fine and shouldn't be an issue for other people. To each there own.

I don't hate the game at all, or will ever hate it. I just play alot of gacha games and others as well. On mobile only but on pc is of course other games like fps and competitive typez

MMO's have massive grindfest. only players who can play longer time would play MMO. also since its "China" games, expect some sort of Stamina/Resin stuff. that gating system is being hated in MMO. MMO players wanted unlimited grinding with unlimited potential for character growth. grinding levels, gears and so on.

@@Sanakan.safeguard yo to put it into perspective, zzz is a turned based game meaning they don't have to worry about open world exploration, echoes, leveling by exploring, miniscular details, etc. that WuWa have to worry about because WuWa is an open world game. Taking all that into consideration, zzz still has shittier combat than an open world game where zzz focuses on combat.

@@Itachiflameamaterasuit’s using the same formula as blue archive, a buncha groups with different things go on and your just the ‘go between’ stand in to be able to associate with all the factions.
Which is even further pushed away from the standard gacha direction by NOT tying you to a single group, such as abydos with blue archive, saint freya valkyries with honkai impact 3rd and gray raven’s commandant with punishing gray raven.
Your clearly an information broker and ‘guide’ for the easy to have whatever the fk you want mystery land going ons, so any group would salivate to commission you to be the guide with whatever story they have going on, with you just riding in the back seat with no need to be involved with the plot this time around.
If I had to better describe it, if you played octo path traveler or live a live, they are the type of games with extremely short story segments to for each character that feels like a side quest being treated as a main quest instead.
Which can have its charms, but the downside is you can never have a good interconnected story besides how typical gacha mobile game anime ‘adaptations tend to end:
All the factions just show up with the power of friendship regardless of whatever tension they SHOULDA HAVE, against eachother to help out the ‘sensei’ and co. To save a single friend they likely have next to nil reason to get involved.
Mobile games have to be a long term service game and if the story focus keeps flipping to other groups with no association to eachother, it can be easy to not care about the story because outside of new cast of ‘fetish waifu/husbandos for the simps’, you won’t have much reason for long term care cause they likely won’t appear again except to sell a new version of one of them or promote some paid cosmetics.
So unless the game is extremely polished and not greedy as fk, it can easily get boring fast, especially if things try to be like digimon ghost game, trying to be an ‘episodic story’ but also rough shodding a terribly random ‘end goal story’ that has no reason to even exist in the first place.

I would say ZZZ is very highly focused on story/characters, the animations/expressions/interactions/comic scenes, etc. - essentially like a 'slice of life' story in a lot of ways with the main combat/overarching plot linked in as the main theme. I played the beta as reference.
I won't even bother myself with it but it's for 1 very simple reason, Hoyo keeps recycling their atrocious gear system (artifacts, relics, discs or what they're called) for every game they make but consistently making them worse than it's previous iteration. I quit HSR because I couldn't handle again how ungrateful it is to farm for relics, I already had good experience with ungratefulness from Genshin, and I don't think ZZZ's going to be any different, waste of time. It sounds ridiculous to reduce entire games to a system but to me, all hoyo games are just a massive waste of time, very unrewarding and unfun.

The reason I stayed with HSR is because it's very casual and not time consuming.
Yes, the relic system sucked. But at least the farming time is short and less effort is needed (auto battle) and ofc you can multitask (you can spend your energy and in the end you also complete the daily tasks)
And of course, the story is what carries HSR up until now. Heck I'd say it's even better than Genshin, it has plot twists, consequences, risks (canon death), and a lot of personality on each character, something that Genshin doesn't have
@@jhay0053 it's true that echos are not that different as gear from what Hoyoverse has, but I got better echoes, with decent to good substats in less than a month of the game having come out, compared to my 1 year of playing Genshin and a couple of months in HSR. So, even thought WuWas gear also suffers from RNG, I think Kuro doesn't fuck you as much and trust me, I'm unlucky as hell in these kind of games.

I'm of the opposite reason. The whole reason I wanna play zzz is because of the character designs. I just like the whole aesthetic of zzz in general. Wuwa however looks like another bland chinese gacha game in terms of character design.

However as a normal consumer/player it is of our best interest to prioritize the allocation of the "free time" that we have to the games/hobbies that we find interesting and actually enjoy.

But is it gonna be worth spending my time with? Well deemed it not to be, and that's on me.
Another thing that I wanna point out is;
Consumers looks at the final result or the released product before actually buying it.
The tests might produce a good and spectacular data during test runs, but then again the final product is what matters. And right now the game is on its market introduction phase.
So I might be right or I might be wrong for deeming it not worth it, who knows. But that's what consumers do..

Hoyo made me lose trust in them after how they treated me as a GI player. ZZZ is going to be successful, but whether it falls off after the honeymoon period, that's the true test of both WuWa and ZZZ's longevity. ZZZ is gonna release with the negative opinion they are carrying from CBT 1, which might get overturned since they did fix most of the issues.
Personally, I am not excited cause it feels like they are making a HI3 clone, and we all know how HI3 is doing these days(Spoiler: it's all whales baby). I heard they tried to make a shooting game out of ZZZ at first, don't know if it's first person or third person, but they quickly abandoned the idea and stuck to what they do best. It's like they are afraid of innovation at this point in their career as a company. I bet they wouldn't even have added that parry mechanism if it weren't for WuWa showing off their game full of hard dodges and parrying so successfully in CBT 1.

Never, look, we all know it's all about making profit.
However, making your game explicitly grindy and tying everything to your gacha with extremely low chances of ever getting what you need unless you spent thousands of dollars isn't the way to go. It's disrespectful, boring, tedious and at that point it isn't a game anymore it's a glorified casino disguised as a gacha game. I disagree with your argument in pinned comment. I will skip even trying zzz. Not because I am wuwa Stan. Because I think hoyo as a company is incredibly disrespectful and condescending. It would be foolish for me to put my self respect aside and give them another chance just to play a game, I value myself more than that. There’s millions of games in the world, there is zero reason to “give a chance” to a company’s game whose business I fundamentally do not want to support. It’s called taking a stand. I will happily try games from companies that haven’t mistreated me. But to be clear, no business is “owed” a chance from me. As a consumer it is 100% my decision if I want to skip a game without even trying.

It was only genshin at the beginning (except the ogs who have been playing hi3) but now its getting more diverse and and evey game will have its own community and its hard to go and stick to a new game and spend time and for some money again
I don't think zzz or any future gacha game will be able to build most of its player base from old gacha players joining their new game they have to get new people to the gacha field
gachas take like 10-20 minutes a day to finish mid patches , so i think it's easy for players to switch games

@@mennaiphone7306 You don't need to spend hours farming WuWa's open world every day... The Stamina burn + Daily quests only take about 10 minutes. (loading times aside) Add another 30 minutes to 1 hour per week between the events, tower of adversity, and rogue-like mode, and you get most of the limited time rewards.
I agree that Genshin felt more time consuming when I used to play it, though.
Either way, I don't think the number of "new" gacha players joining ZZZ is that high. Genshin was different, but by now I think the population of any new gacha is mostly made up of previous gacha players who end up leaving it pretty early, or end up leaving a previous game sooner or later in order to fit the new one.
(ZZZ looks cool and all, but I don't think there is anything about it that would make a player who never had interest in gacha games before suddenly become interested now. Genshin died for me the day i downloaded Wuwa, im just sick and tired of their greedy monetization....constellations are a P2W mechanic idc if ppl say you can beat the game as a f2p with 4 stars, if you like a character but you can never see its full potential unless you dump a few paychecks into it is insane to me, also their anniversary is a atrocious amount of rewards to this day they have yet to give us a viable 5* (Alloy is not a 5* its a 3*...).

I was really hyped for Zenless Zone Zero when it was announced and i was waiting eagerly for its release, mainly because it's combat.
Until i decided to try out Wuwa (and sitting right now with 30 hours playtime) , now i feel even if i try out ZZZ, i'll go back to Wuwa in matter of days.
Also 1.1 is right around the corner, more hyped about the new WuWa update than ZZZ release at this point.
If I want to play ZZZ, it makes Genshin official betray more to players care for game loyalty into bullshit popularity cares for right after Hsr generosity reward pull more than Genshin gave never free 5* characters and never free gave 4* crit rate whole weapon type regardless passive but highest sub stat instead base attack. Won't try ZZZ anymore as I play Honkai Impact 3rd already (seems redundant to me). They should've focused on improving Genshin more instead of trying to release another 3D RPG again.
WuWa is on a different league because of their gameplay. There might be issues on WuWa right now, but I'm expecting at least 6 months to 1 year before the game would be stable. Kuro might rushed the release, but they can't give up now.
HSR and WuWa are enough for me BUT you are correct, WuWa stans needs to stop being a worrywart, ZZZ isn't going to kill WuWa and neither will the opposite. Both games aren't even comparable.

ZZZ not having Honkai in its name is already a massive red flag. As there is a huge chance that the team that handle HI3 and HSR ain't the team that's gonna handle ZZZ and it could just turn out to be another Genshin scenario, great game with great potential but was handled poorly.
Plus if I just want to play hack and slash I'd rather play HI3,PGR or Aether Gazer, I ain't even gonna bother with Honkai Impact re-skin.
Lastly it would be funny if Hoyo supremacists quit Genshin and play ZZZ because they want fast paced action gameplay but doesn't want to play WuWa since it ain't a Hoyo game 🤣

As someone that whales in PGR, Genshin (used to), WuWa, ToF (used to) and associates with people that whaled in those games, I really do not think we make up the portion of people that are so rabid online about other games. In my experience, most of us are spending disposable income that we're fortunate to have and know that it's really just supporting the game we want to see succeed. If that company burns us, Genshin and ToF, it's super easy to move on. (Side point, but related: The problem isn't that people are billionaires, it's that they're not spending it, that's the positive side to whaling as a lot of people really have a lot more than they'll ever need).
There's an assumption that whales have this sunk cost fallacy, but it's really a fallacy. Most people do not actually fall for the psycho mind tricks and those that do, surely do not hold on to money long enough to whale consistently especially in multiple games. Generally, my mindset is: I want to pay for the game, pay for the community, and pay for game's future development. All of those things are extremely valuable, especially the community (it sucks being the only person playing a game, hard to say why, but it's just true a lot of the joy is lost). I dominantly want to shift the developer's responsibility to me as a player rather than to some uninterested investor. That's really the thought that goes into whaling, at least in my circles. And usually as soon as the developer stops listening, they lose our "vote." So, it's better from my standpoint to tell Hoyoverse explicitly, "you abused my whale money from HI3 and Genshin and now WuWa and PGR is getting all of it. If you want that money back, or some of it, be like them."
In my experience, the people that are the most rabid are the ones that have nothing of value to offer besides comment and upvotes. They obsess over characters but have no money because they spend all their time on F2P games, watching Twitch streams for drops, arguing with Twitter about their waifus, whiteknighting against any opposition and formulating head canon fantasies. I have honestly never seen any whale or dolphin act anything like that. You kinda don't need that kind of dedication when you can just throw money at the things you love, tbh. And because you do not feel that you "owe" anything (since a whale always gives more than they get), it's really easy to feel snubbed and bounce at the first sign of a lack of appreciation.
The community hates the spenders enough already, but I promise you, we're not the ones that turn rabid. Look at how investors treat games. When that game does not return what was hoped for, they are QUICK to move on. Whales, for the most part, really are the same.

persoanlly i wont play it just because it's a hoyo game and I'm sick of hoyo's bullshit like constantly lying in genshin (saying they'll increase amount of resin only to increase the resin cap so you still get 160 a day and also saying they'll release endgame content and they still haven't released it and it's half way through 4.7 already), also because they decided to try to be slimy af and release the game on wuwa's 1.1 patch so that they can take their players (which is most likely why wuwa moved the patch a week forward a week, not just because of "lack of content so we're pushing out updates sooner") Hoyo is honestly such an L, and I used to love playing genshin and still enjoy the game a lot but the company is slimy and greedy

While i still sadly play GI (too invested), it will definitely be my first and last Hoyoverse game. They went on my blacklist of companies like Bethesda, Ubisoft, Blizzard and EA,. I refuse to play anything new from them because they showed us just how little they care about their communities .Although GI community is trash by itself and they honestly don't deserve anything good (including me- after all, i'm still playing that trash). But honestly speaking i've only seen the first reveal of ZZZ trailer and gameplay (and it honestly sucked in my opinion) and nothing more since then, and i don't plan to change that.
Edit: WuWa completely ruined genshin's combat for me lol, the combat in GI just feels really bad now.

No. Because one of the major draw for players is Wuwa's combat and from what I have seen from beta, Zzz combat pales in comparison to Wuwa. No jump, mobs rarely attack, very button smashy, bosses don't feel threatening, the skill and ult animations are not that interesting.
1. I’m too knee deep in WuWa to move to another game. I have a 50hour job and too many games is hard to keep up.
2. More competition and pressure from Mihoyo is good for Kuro cause it just means better product for customers.
