It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"There is a surah in the Qur'an, with thirty verses, which will intercede for its companion (the one who recites it) until he is forgiven: Tabarakal-ladhi bi yadihil mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the Dominion)."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْجُشَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِنَّ سُورَةً فِي الْقُرْآنِ ثَلاَثُونَ آيَةً شَفَعَتْ لِصَاحِبِهَا حَتَّى غُفِرَ لَهُ {تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ} " .

Allah understand all languages
i can speak arabic but sometimes another language is more comfortable for me, is it permissible for me to make dua in sajdah in another language (not arabic) even if i speak arabic?

Im a Marathi Buddhist, and i want to know whether i can pray to Allah in my own mother tongue? Since Allah Taala has created all languages from his grace. SubhanAllah
Brother, when you pray Namaz, you have to recite the Qur'an which was told by our prophet. Namaz will not be valid if you recite in your mother tongue because the Qur'an was revealed in Arabic and it is the literal word of God. It needs to be recited in Arabic. But you can ask for supplication in your mother tongue as Dr Naik said
This is just to make Arabic supreme language, Persian and every muslim country in the world follows its own language, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kuwait allow its residents to pray in Azerbaijani, Tajik and Kuwaiti Arabic languages for example. And you tell me Allah understands the language of even an ant
Brother basically, there would be translation errors in different languages as they change the meaning of the verse. Hence, arabic is used as a base language

My mother’s side of the family and my father’s all hates my mom and her children and it’s all due to envy . They’ve hated my mom because she used to be rich and they stole everything from her and she’s now poor . Even at this stage they’re still after us and wishing we were all dead . Sometimes I get sad thinking about this 🥲. My mom survived all their plots through patience and now they’re focused on her children, they know if we get we will take care of her . I keep asking Allah sometimes why this happening to us . Please I need anyone that sees this to pray for us for Allah’s guidance and protection 🙏

Assalamualaikum, This is your test so have patience in allah. Never stop turning to him. Never forget that this world and it's problems are all temporary. Even if you have nothing one day and are on the street, don't stop turning to allah. Even if it's the opposite and you have all the riches in the world, still never stop turning to him and never ignore your duties toward him and inshallah you will find peace and happiness. Be strong and don't get too down. Just remember they can never take away from you all the good and beneficial things you can do for the hereafter and allah is the most Just, and they will have to answer to him one day.

Yes, you can make any good dua in any language in sajda during namaz as well as before saying final salaams.

Just my humble opinion. The logic is if Dua is not permitted is equivalent to Quran not permitted to be translated (in your own mother tongue, languages). Missionaries are able to spread around the world because they translated the Bible to more than 2000 languages. This is something amazing in Dakwah. Allah (SWT) makes it's creation diverse so that we can vie amongst us doing good. Allah (SWT) owns everything, including languages.
Hence, there are no languages that Allah (SWT) cannot understand in HIS own Mightiness, All-Knowing. 👉[Ar-Rum (The Romans) 30:22]. Allah (SWT) wants your heart to understand the Truth and meaning of life. You will love to learn Arabic if you love Allah though learning a new language may not be so easy for everyone. Nevertheless, Quran is for everyone and Allah does not send us the Quran to make us (mankind) unhappy [Surah Ta-ha Verse 2]
Why not the world full of diffrent languge they not Arabs even they lives in Arab land they not Arabs their mother tong diffrent languges Judy like race diffrent as people pray the same surah but duha diffrent their own languge

Imaam? Allah given us good knowledge that we can solve by self. Did prophet said that you follow after him these 4 Imaam?

Should we ask for it in our head or can we make it loudly also? I've heard that if we make the dua loudly in sujood it is nullified. I am not sure about it. The scholars on the internet don't claim all this. However one of my cousins went out to say this. So I am just curious and want to know if it is true.

but not in fard salah sunnah salah naful salah in salah we cannot make dua in our mother language.

With all due respect Dr Zakir Naik is best in comparative religion debate but he is not fit to give his view on fiqh as he hasn’t studied fiqh under a scholar who is qualified in the field.
I will trust the view of Imam Malik and Imam Abu Hanifah (r.a) over the ones proceeded them as they were blessed to be from the blessed first three generation (Salaf As Saliheen). They attained their knowledge from the people who learned from the companions (r.a).
What reasons were given you can't make dua in other languages during salah, especially if you don't even know arabic? References please.
