It could be that Madeline tried to make it more difficult or problematic for Stern to access her by sleeping in a common area . Stern is the one who said to officers Madeline's incredibly stupid mother "directed him" and he's a liar . I think her mother is a sandwich short of a lunchbox at the very least , but it does seem as if he did have plenty of time alone with Madeline , and Madelines mother could well have been ignorant of what was happening.

This is what I'm saying. No normal, healthy adult man would feel comfortable with it. I think even a biological father would protest having to sleep in his tweens bed, even if "directed to" by his wife and certainly wouldn't choose to if there was another space available, like a couch. 31:16 yea it’s so wrong that her mum was telling them to sleep in sane room. After Madeline had been rid of him for a full month. It puts a new spin on it, that perhaps Madeline during that month off (from continual SAs) wasn’t prepared to go back to that situation and fought back. That break in combination with turning 13 and possibly realising just how badly she was being treated, perhaps indicating she was going to tell others. So he, or they (him and Jen), decided to murder her.

I have never in my life heard of any place unless it’s like one of those really old houses that got 10-20 rooms that’s an b&b. Never heard of putting numbers on the door for roommates. And originally there was Jen ,Maddie, her Jen’s dad and one roommate living there that can’t be that hard to figure out whose room is who. I think it has reference to stage 4. It used to be that adult films were made on stage four because it was typically a stage built in Hollywood that would be used for creating stunts that were louder, shooting scenes or scenes where pyrotechnics are used, and they were soundproofed a lot heavier and adult film crews would rent those stages to make adult films. now I don’t know if these two idiots would know that or not. I just find it very interesting that something that used to be a Hollywood term just so happens to be what’s on the door of the room with a tripod sex lotion where the child is videoed being abused. All right just could be that they’re so dumb. They don’t know which bedroom to go into.

I worked at that holiday inn club vacations office.
One building is the corporate office (3 floors-adjacent north of the parking garage) and the other is the contact center (2 floors-parallel west of the parking garage).
The parking garage is only 3 levels and completely detached from the building. No one goes up to that last floor where Stefan was seen on surveillance moving Maddy. You’d more likely find a parking spot closer and in between the building and the garage. I find it crazy though that people are just inside working and that no one would even know a crazy man was outside moving a dead body on the top floor of the garage. People were definitely there too because in the corp building where I worked, everyone usually arrived to work between 8-9am so by 10am, most people are there and at their desk. Plus it was on a Monday?!
I’m also shocked that no one saw this; there’s security all around the two buildings-I’d say at least 3 guards on duty 24/7. But if it was on surveillance, they probably got a good amount of footage on him being the amount of cameras everywhere…including the parking garage.

All those “snuggles” he🤮referred to in bed together - those weren’t all filmed. They’ve got him on the phone photos and videos - but there was far more. That child was tortured and I personally think she indicated she was done - so Sterns had to shut her up

I would say by the way they were all acting. The majority of that family knew exactly what was going on everything that people described about her stated this child was being abused, and how a school counselor was so dumb that they didn’t realize that her symptoms were not ADHD and anxiety that they were PTSD because of sexual assault is beyond me and they should be fired.

    • @Thepublicaccount

@@beanj580 one of the big things was that she was doing well when she stopped taking her medication without them knowing it. Another big sign that the counselor and the teacher should have caught the medication that she would be taking would be calming her down, which means she should’ve been getting restful sleep and she wasn’t. She was falling asleep in the classroom she was showing the type of mood swings and behaviors that abused children show, I forget exactly what the one child said I believe they said that she would slap them and then say that’s how she showed affection. There’s a big friggin clue people saw that the stepfather that isn’t even her real stepfather was constantly messaging her. That’s another big clue most children do not just get ADHD out of the blue, everything being read in these documents including her sitting they’re telling her counselor the guy is weird. He creeps me out. They didn’t follow up to find out more information. They just said oh why and as soon as she said, a couple of answers instead of focusing on that more they just blew it off because guess what Jen did the perfect thing and got her diagnosed as ADHD so they would never question anything, it’s also very widely known that most parents that know about abuse in the home one of the first things they do is get their children diagnosed and they will medicate them because then they can say well. They have a mental health history, anxiety, bipolar, and ADHD. apparently, the reports have been read so far she showed signs of having PTSD from a sexual assault or some form of intimate abuse. School counselors at deal with children all day every day and these cases constantly happen should be more in the no and doctors need to start being held responsible for giving these kids medicine and diagnosing them with something just because the parent says so. Her diagnosis was nothing more than a cover one so they could control her more and they probably were stealing her medicine.

There is no excuse for Jen allowing them to sleep in the same room. Imo Jen was so self absorbed in her “anxiety” she would literally do anything to be left alone and sleep. I also think there is a huge possibility he drugged both Madeline and Jen.
One thing i disagree with is how people are making such a big deal about the idea of kids her age getting dropped off an hour earlier than school starts. When my kids were in middle school, many got dropped off as parents were on their way to work, therefore early. And Madisons school didn’t start until after 9am. Also many kids in my town are dropped off down the street bc the traffic in front of the school is horrendous. And after school tons of kids walk and hangout at the Starbucks about a block away waiting to get picked up. Imo there are so many disgusting, horrendous, perverted things about this case that these issues are not a big deal. Although they were all lies, since sadly that day Madison never even made it out of her so called home alive.

His behavior was very weird from the start, agree! The „tears“, his voice tone and the way he spoke of Madeline 😱🤮
But they both were odd. Jen to me seemed more overwhelmed and kind of helpless at first but more and more like she didn‘t care much about M. Not at the party, no photo for police, she was searching her phone for like 5min or so until she finally could give them a pic of HER missing daughter😳 Very unusual these days. It‘s not like she never took pics of anything/anyone, she seemed to have a lot of photos on her phone, she just couldn‘t find one of her daughter instantly!?
All these little but telling details. Something was not ok between mother and daughter aside from the creep bf! Poor Madeline! Probably made it easy for SS to groom her when she missed the daughter/mother bond, was looking for love and understanding. Makes me soooo sick and angry how this creepy disturbed man took advantage of innocent Madeline to use her like a dam*d s*xtoy🤬🤬🤬😭😢
Why are there so many of these creeps?!? I really want to know! What‘s wrong w them????? To go after little kids, it‘s such an evil thing to do… And I‘m hesitant using the word evil but what else is it to s abuse a child?!

Vile woman didn't care enough to even ask about her party? I can't even imagine how she couldn't have been aware and how she could be so absent from her life. I have lived with my teenage child and I would never completely rest until they were in bed asleep I just couldn't rest because teenagers are always in danger just the age of a teenager you have to keep an eye on them constantly. It's such a scary time for parents I just can't believe she wouldn't care enough to.. it's just not excusable he has to spend time doing that it's insane where the H#!! Was the mother? How could she not protect her? Had to be hours he spent with Maddie and her mother could sleep through that?

I worked at the post office and it kept me on shifts from 7:30 am to 9 PM or even later! It wasn’t everyday, but it was often enough that I was never caught up on rest. I worked a rotating schedule, 6 day week, 5 day week broken up and last week 3 day weekend. I honestly was always losing track of things. One night my daughter didn’t get off the last bus at six and I almost lost my mind. ThenI realized that night was a track meet. I almost broke down that day. Luckily, i didn’t rely on a boyfriend and my husband is present. Comparing my moment to the way Jennifer seems on camera, it’s amazing she remains so calm.

Don’t schools notify parents when children don’t show up at first period? All my years in school attendance was taken and parents were called if I didn’t show up.

I think it differs from state to state. I'm in the UK, and if a child is not there for first register, the parent is phoned.I just don't understand why this isn't something every school does!

I am in the US and YES Every school has an automated phone system that calls out if your child isn’t there for home room

I graduated high school (US) in 2010 and they were already making calls back then.

Yes but it’s different for every state, district. I know Gisela covered this, something about the school notifying at the end of the day but later changed their notification to a real time for each class system. When my kids were young in the 80’s they wouldn’t notify you until on the report card when absences were counted. Later after a few absences, and by the end if their schooling years you got a recorded call that evening. Things change and not every where is the same or how they inform…

During her first interview she said she had an email or text (can't remember) from the school saying she was absent!
