He's definitely one of the few true artists and genuine people out there by all indications. Despite people who think Chilis are overrated or bad. I think if you had a time machine and show them their best shows from their best shows amd learned about them as people. I genuinely think even today and always have been a true punk band in the true sense of the word. Not because I believe they make music for altruistic reasons but also because their music really isn't similar to bands they might be compared to. I think the musicianship and writing are overlooked too but idk why. But mostly I think "non fans" don't like keidis but honestly whatever you think of him the music they make is good and no one else could sing it and him singing it his part of why it's punk. Also it's really really good.

All venues need a protocol for dealing with this. Too many people have been hurt or died because of improper crowd control. There should be a manned “kill switch” that instantly stops the music and turns on all the house lights. When the kill switch is activated, everyone in attendance should understand what it means and what action is expected of them…like….take 3 steps back and make sure you have arms length between you and everyone. You can convey the “inflight instructions” prior to the start of the show so everyone is on the same page right from the get go….just my 2 cents.

I was pitted in the pit in hot and humid Atlanta . I was center stage, dehydrated, and needed to pee. The pit was so crowded I couldn't leave (forget about dancing, way too crowded for that). I could have maybe escaped if I hopped the fence in the back of the pit but instead I said a prayer and stuck it out with nervous calm. Maybe it was a rookie mistake choosing the pit but I thought the Peppers would choose a comfortable layout and person cap. Still a beautiful show though!

Well tbf Chilis don't *have* to use ticketmaster either. I'm sure they've got enough pull where they could use an alternative seller for their tickets. If it's an issue of the venues not allowing that then maybe they should play smaller venues out of concern for their fans' safety? Idk exactly where the line is drawn as to whether a certain retailer, band and/or venue "cares" about the fans really.
Edit- could be a thing where their label has a deal with ticketmaster too... so again idk where that leaves anyone as far as caring about fans.
