Great video. I love the way you showcase a golf course and all the history involved with it. Great par on the Hogan hole. I was pulling for you to make birdie and thought you had it. Thanks for sharing that vlog Andy. Absolutely fantastic.
I really look forward to your vlogs, it always feels like your speaking to me personally. The features on the Scottish courses have been fantastic , I've been lucky enough to play most of the ones you've featured. Keep going your channel is first class.
Great film, commentary and descriptions were spot on and the background music just complimented every shot. Magnificent camera work and the Slow mo on the putt at 12:40 had me captivated as the ball disappears behind the slope and then, in what seems like an age, the flag comes into view and the ball re-appears. Refreshing to watch a vlog without the whooping, hollering and inane drivel. Well done. If you could do the Burnside and Championship you can complete the Hogan story 👍
The courses you are sharing with the world are wonderful. Panmure and it’s history with Ben Hogan is great to learn about. Looks like an amazing course to experience. Well done Andy
What a wonderful story and beautiful filmed again . I haven’t been to Scotland since I was a small lad , that was a long time ago .. but this series has me wanting to go there 😉🏌️♂️⛳️🍻
I really look forward to this type of vlog. You have captured the essence of the courses in each one you do. Great camera work, sensible commentary that fits in perfectly with the background music and the quality of your golf. Would love to see you doing the same in S Wales at Royal Porthcawl and Southerndown together with some of the links around Swansea, Pennard and Machynys for example Perhaps 2021!!
This video was wonderful. If I am ever graced with the opportunity to play Panmure Golf Club I only hope I can do it justice. What a beautiful course. Thank you.
Lucky enough to play there, week of The Open 2007, brilliant course and lovely traditional club house, steeped history. One of our group hired a local caddy, man could he read the lines of the putts! Would love to go back.
Fantastic content and production 👏. Really enjoying the new direction the channel is going in Fantastic stuff. Looking forward to more Scottish content
I played it earlier this year, it’s lovely! I didn’t know the history of the 6th though. I do remember running after my umbrella on the 16th fairway though...
Bravo ... i find myself rooting for you to hit every shot & make every putt Unquestionably my favorite course vlogs period Ive got to get cross the pond before its too late Thank you Andy
Lovely segment Andy! Incredible feat by Hogan! The ability to adjust his game to different conditions and larger balls in a 2 week span is simply amazing. He may be the greatest ever.
Love these videos I could go to Scotland and play those courses and it wouldn't bother me that I didn't play on the so called bigger named courses. Stunning.
Another great video, makes me want to take a few months off and travel the Scottish coast playing all the links courses I’ve yet to play, really want to get out to Machrie one day!
@@TheAverageGolfer I have been fortunate to have played Carnoustie & Burnside a number of times, but never got to play Panmure which looking at your vid was a mistake.
@@TheAverageGolfer They are probably my favourite Courses. The Burnside is a fun Course and a good test of Golf. The Championship Course, however, is tough even when the wind isn't blowing and when the wind is blowing its brutal. The 1st is a gentle opener and then each hole seems to get progressively harder. The closing 3 holes are the hardest run of holes that I have ever played. Carnoustie perhaps lacks the nostalgia of the Old Course, but it's a Course that you could never forget and that you would always want to go back to, for another crack at it. The first time I played it I asked my playing partner which way the wind blows......he laughed and said four different ways all at the same time! And he wasn't joking!
Hi Andy, loving the course vlogs. I have a question regarding Ping and as I see a large Ping fitting stand in the studio you use I thought you might have the answer. Are i210 irons being replaced and when? Hope you can help.
They keep new releases very quiet, Ping are generally on a 2 yr cycle and they delayed a release this summer due to Covid, this could have included the 2020 i210's but I cannot provide any more than that
Great to hear that you are enjoying your time playing the courses around the Angus and Dundee area. I'm looking forward to coming back home in less than a weeks time and hoping to get onto some of these fantastic courses (espc Forfar, Edzell, Ballumbie Castle, Buddon and Burnside)
@@TheAverageGolfer thank you, I am sure that I spotted posts on my FB page about your visit. I have just finished watching your Yas Links video. I have played there plus several of the Dubai courses in the last 4+ years that I have lived and worked over in Oman where I currently am a member at Al Mouj championship course. Love the videos, keep blogging
Played there last weekend Andy the championship is stunning bit of advice to any Golfer walk the course if you get the chance because there is bail out areas that you look back at and think Jesus I'd love to play that hole again, I do think if your long hitter off the Tee you get seriously penalised in the 200/250 traps that are 6ft deep, try the burnside the starter tells me it's a mini championship which I would agree as some of the par3s are unbelievable, great vlogs Andy it's becoming class now the interaction not only with the course the People at the club makes it to good luck at Carnoustie ⛳️🏌️
Lovely to watch the great Panmure GC being appreciated, filmed and golfed. Your quiet enthusiasm shines through, congratulations.
