Great job! And, I betcha that everyone thought you were going to omit setting the gear mesh; but, you didn't...LOL
Yeah, once I saw how the transmission was put together I realized that people probably need to know that you can't set the mesh right away and would need to wait until the rest of the transmission was put together with the spur shaft stabilized before setting the mesh.
Love how this new VFD Twin trans looks!💯🔥🔥
I gotta say I agree! Really cool how they packaged all the gears and shifting mechanisms.
Great. An actual HW axe r2 setup 😊
Indeed it is!
at 18.22 you slip the case on effortlessly, I'm not having any luck getting that case to slide on. any suggestion would be most welcome.
If I remember correctly, there is a piece on the shifter case side. Vanquish has several pieces that look similar and the instructions don't really help in figuring out what that piece is. Make sure you have the correct piece in there. I think it's the metal piece that goes inside the housing.
9:57 - I’m unable to spin the shaft so freely with my install. Do you think my motor is broken?
I don't remember if I was spinning pretty hard or not, or if the pinion was even on the motor at the time during this video. The motor should give some resistance due to magnets though.
Hi...I've been watching your videos on the vanquish portal built. Did you make the steps you used to build it or are your steps according to the instructions?
I'm going according to the instructions. Although their number is weird on a few pages where they start all over from 1 again for the next page instead of by component. In those cases, I might have just added the number instead of starting from 1 again. Sorry for the confusion if that's the case.
@@RevolutionX your videos are better than the instructions great job and thanks
Hello, can a 3300 kv come in the box?
I do not quite understand your question, but the kit does not come with a motor. If you are asking whether it's ok to run 3300kv, then I'd just suggest using a smaller pinion if you are going to do that.
I can't get case to go on why not?
Not sure which part you are talking about, but if you haven't figured it out yet, I'll see if I can help?
