Very helpful! I have 3 months and some change of buildup with box braids from individual crochet braids. This is going to SAVE ME. Everybody lift me up, because it's about to go down.🤣💪🏾
When she said "ok y'all do not do this unless your hair is wet" and made that face.. I felt personally attacked... lollll thanks for coming for me sis LOLLLL
You are a real natural beauty for real, thank you for sharing, I came here because I am taking down these 3 month 1/2 crochet braids I can see close to 4 inches of new growth, it's time for a rest and a new set. love this video.
Exactly how I intend to remove my faux locs in about a month or TWO 😂!!! No swirly curlys and no looping the wrap loc portion thru my base braid!!!! SWEET!!!
That's what I do. I wash my braids every week and make sure to oil and moisture. My hair was really clean and buildup up was minimal but there was a bit of dust in my hair. But don't put too much oil in your hair or else it'll be really oily when you take it down.
Hii can anyone tell me how I can remove buildup with the aloe vera plant I have searched on RUclips but many are using the apple cider method and I don't want to because I'm currently transitioning so do u just cut the leaf and put the gel? Or blend it?
I'm here with you! Idc how long I leave my braids in, my build up is thicker than the federal vault door! I've tried EVERYTHING except for avc, and I'm not a fan of that. 😢🙏🏾
I FINALLY TOOK MY LOCS DOWN! Can you believe it's been three whole months since I've installed them? What's the longest that you've worn a protective style? Thankyou much for actually showing you removing the buildup in this video.. very stressful process it can an be😫
I used oil to take my braids out. Oil/conditioner is your friend, do not use water to take your hair down
Which oil do you use
Cant wait to reach this length omg 😍
😩 not "nipple length" I'm DEAD 😂💀

Your skin is beautiful, ma! I've only seen you with a full face on until this video, and just wow!
Your hair made me feel like I was looking into heaven.
How do you take care of your hair while it's in faux locs?
THANK YOU BECAUSE THE LAST TIME I PULLED MY HAIR OUT🤦🏾♀️
look why didn't I watch this video before :(( my hair has shedded so muchh but has grown really thick
Your hair is supposed to shed, not break.
Mine were slipping out too so I removed them after a month.
The goddess Locks looked nice on you
Im always wondering if I didn’t use gel or only oil and leave in cond if buildup would happen. And wash weekly or biweekly with braids in
That's what I do. I wash my braids every week and make sure to oil and moisture. My hair was really clean and buildup up was minimal but there was a bit of dust in my hair. But don't put too much oil in your hair or else it'll be really oily when you take it down.
Did any of your locs unravel during the 3 months ?
Quarantine lead me here
That is the good of natural hair but if it could be relaxed hair will be hard to detangle

It would be better to cut the leave, extract the inside and blend it
What did you spray with? Water?
Nothing works on my buildup! 😬

Try co co nutt oil or olive mixed with peppermint oil
I can't wait on my hair to reach way in my back
Omg thank you so much! Also your gorgeous!
