people say that they miss their school days...I would say that I am relieved that those days are over..it was a nightmare....I would never in a million years want to return to that time. The kind of stress and pressure we were subjected to did more harm than good.., the teachers, the schools, the coachings and the overall education system was and is so fucked up. The only thing I gained from them is anxiety issues and and a lot of regret.

i was a gifted student up until 10th grade that was back in 2020-21 and then the pandemic turned my whole world upside down, i got lazy and started procrastinating a lot, i just got tired of studying and trying so hard, several sleepless nights for only a few minutes of happiness, no one even pays u any validation once the results are over, i also realized how cooped up in studies and textbook i was that i couldnt build basic life skills, i cant even go grocery shopping alone nor board a bus to travel alone. My 12th boards r going on right now and i have just one more exam left and honestly i am not expecting anything above 85%, i spend my study leaves crying and depressing over what is over and how much of a disappointment i am to my parents, but trust me, ur life is only starting rn, u have so much more in life, do not stop here, do not let this discourage u, hold ur head up high and move forward. U r never alone, there r thousands like u and me.

Bro my exact scenario. So what happened was I completed my 10th in 2020, got 93% but in the lockdown everything went downhill, I started procrastinating more than ever. There were even such days when I didn't have the motivation to get out of my bed and do anything. I got depressed. Life became meaningless than ever. Gave my 12th boards last year and got 75% and I was literally hiding from my family for a week. I didn't even had the courage to face them. I disappointed people but most of all I disappointed myself and it took me quite some time to get over it. I didn't even do well on my entrances last year and wasn't satisfied with the colleges I was getting so I decided to take a drop and currently I'm preparing for jee mains.
What I wanna say is, slowly but I got over it and realised that this isn't the end of everything. This is just the start. So no matter how much marks you get. You're still gonna get what's meant for you in the end. Don't lose hope and cheer up!! Virtual hugs from my side

don't get discouraged if you score less marks in jee/neet/boards, just remember success doesn't depend on these exams but your hard work. If you are hardworking, you can even make it bigger in life than jee toppers

I didn't study when i was in 10 and 12 and got pretty bad grades, am regretting during my bachelor's years and start working hard, please work hard and give your best shot when you can instead of regretting later on

70% in 12th class and this was the time my legs were shivering often whenever I thought about that. I started preparing for a competitive examination (for a specific field) and honestly I didn't enjoy that at all because I wanted to do what I enjoy.
Currently my parents and family, because what they want so, so I'm preparing for that same Examination again. May Lord help us all.

Last year before my 12th boards i found this video and after watching u.. I felt so relieved.i was so nervous because i was not prepared...was just hoping to clear the 75% criteria... my parents were expecting 90%+ but i knew that I ain't gonna get that much...still i worked hard in last two weeks and got 80% which is not great ik...but i was satisfied and happy with my result.. although my parents were not that happy but they never said anything..right now i am preparing for jee 😂 as a dropper and trust me mere result se abhi tk koi impact nhi pda...so juniors work hard even if you have less time but don't get worried...stay positive and trust yourself✌️

I absolutely agree with you, I gave my boards last year and scored 80%. It didn't even matter though because entrance exams are the main arena for getting in any type of good colleges now. My parents always say try your best during these 5-10 Yrs of your life so the next 30-40 yrs become easy. But again, exams are part of life and not life itself. So stay calm, work hard and you'll definitely achieve something good in life.

bro 83% is not really that bad as people think, anything above 70% secures your life be it placement, interviews, competitive exams. I too remember I had 87% in my boards which I had written 5 years back lmao! My btech too was good, had 86% and during my 12th I used to think that my life will end now that I didnt score above 90% but reality is way different. None of my relatives care about how much I scored nor do they even ask now, In fact I am not bragging but my relatives said that I was the first in the family to get such good marks because most of my uncles, aunts had scored below 60, some of them had even struggled to score even 50%. My mom and dad too showed their marksheets and told me not to worry much. My dad had 56% in his 12th boards and today he is the VP of the company earning quite well. Knowledge and skills are important, not just marks. So do study to gain knowledge but dont run behind marks, mug up only important formulas but dont keep on mugging up all the things, try to undesrtand and learn. Chill guys!

I learnt front end web development,I learnt python....day by day I'm improving myself.I know I'm not going to my dream University....but I'm sure, I'll do something great without 12th degree.I don't degree but I have more skills than a HS topper.

Brother I am from west bengal and also giving boards right now. Even though I am looking forward to good percentage in 12 at this time,even though I got 95% in 10th. I am focusing so that I can give my best. Your exam is starting from 14th march so don't worry and give your best u will pass with good marks
12th boards is just one of the exams you have been through, we still have so many exams to go through throughout our life

I was never a topper in anything be it academics or sports.
Was pretty aimless during high school. I remember being extremely stressed out during my board exams.

@@ttwwoo22 yes it was through NEET. I was meaning to take a drop year because I was sick at the time but got lucky somehow. That was also the first time NEET was preferred instead of gujcet. A lot of people performed poorly because of the transition. So that may have played a part in low cut off scores (me being a general candidate and whatnot, didn't make it easy though)

I am in 9th grade yet this video was recommended to me. I don’t know if anyone will read this comment, but I just wanted to talk about the amount of stress I’m having. Even though, these were my 9th final exams, I’m very anxious about my results. I have been a topper (95% + student) since 8th. However, in class 9 things went downhill. Procrastination and laziness got the best of me and I started performing very low. From 98% in 8th to 75% in half-yearly of 9th. I’m worried I might even fail in science, my parents and grandparents are quite optimistic about my results of 9th, and I’ve lied about my exams going well to not disappoint them. My result is in a week and I’m damn sure I won’t even score 60%+. I hate to see my performance going down but what I’m even more worried about is the chaos my result would cause because of the high expectations. It’s also going to be a PTM which means feedback from the teacher and our class teacher is our science teacher so it isn’t going to be so pleasant. Anyway, all I wanted to convey was that because of this stress, I’m not able to sleep or eat properly and I’m not sure if this is going to be the case in class 10 also.

My situation was same as you, I was a topper 95%+ till 8th dropped to below 60% in class 9th failed in computer and maths but salvage my respect by getting 90%+ in class 10th .

As someone who has been through 9th and 10th cbse exams, I just want to remind yuo guys that especially 9th marks just don't matter. In the future, nobody will ask for your 9th grade marks and the only pressure that you feel is probably because of parents and teachers who are falsely convincing you that it is important
Batch 2023 - 2024 of class 12th.
I am currently giving my board exam. I am an average student who scored 71.04% in her class 10th board exam and now in class 12th I am not expecting anything because this time I did nothing but procrastinating the things alot and now I am here feeling scared and anxious about my exams. Not just class 11 and 12, but the entire school life is traumatic for many as lot of them have to go through daily school bullying in the name of "fun" which can cause serious mental health repercussions in their future life.

But the fact that it is the first national-level test, especially for the students of our Corona batch, which allows us to prove our hard work and seriousness over the span of two years, is something that should be considered as an opportunity and a stage set for receiving the first-ever challenges of life. Moreover, the end result is something we should not ponder over or run after because no university or institute will be accepting students based solely on the results of the board. However, we should give our very best and not worry about things like 'log kya sochenge' and all.

Don't be scared because you can't make it to 90% or 80%. In my life, I know there are people(including my friend) who scored less and even failed but they kept working on their skills they were good at even in college and are now happy with their jobs . You will eventually reach somewhere if you keep working on yourself and keep going on despite failures.
An exam really only shows what you are capable of memorizing and understanding those theories. Except some, who are good at science, majority are good at other stuffs so these tests aren't going to fix the "life for you" but only going to judge you based on standards that is not equal to everyone's skillsets.
Life is much more than an exam. Don't think low marks is end of good life. .

I was able to score 71.4 in my 12 boards,even though I got 1 marks out of 30 in maths in my pre-board and also my score in pre-board was between 40-60%.So,every student out there who will be giving board exams,I just want to say that don't stress out,because back when I was giving my board exams,I also stressed because of my board exams but now,I realize that the stressing out back then was my biggest mistake,as I was unable to enjoy my those moments.So,just fill your mind with positivity and remove negative thoughts,because the positive thoughts help in increase of hardwork.At last,best of luck for your exams🎊🎊

I was a high scoring student till 5th grade, I got scolarships in 5th,which is of no use now. Got to CBSE english medium in 6th And started scoring average.
10th batch 2020-21
10th last exam results=80%
10th result=69%(would have scored more if it the exam wasn't cancelled) (highest in maths after literature subjects) (thought that will do honors in maths)
12th results 22-23 =57%(could not study much due to health issues, a little neglency too) (passed in other subjects with a low score but failed in maths) (passed 12th due to additional subject, P. E)
Now, don't know what to do, I don't really like chem and physics, maths was fav but now I can't do anything. If I would have failed, there was another chance but now there is no chance. High possibility of not getting a sit in any college/university. Financially poor, can't afford private college. No male in the house,except father who is unhealthy. Living in a rural area where girls ccan't even get out of home or go far from house alone. Unfortunately I'm from the so-called higher caste. SC, ST, OBC friends can get enrolled even if they score 40%,but we can't even apply without 45%even if are disabled. From a reputed family and have tons of genius relatives who don't help in difficult situations but can make fun and through tantrums. CBSE science. Have a very low memory power. Forget about cracking courses,I can't even apply for it with such low grades. Don't know and can't decide what to do in future. Now full in depression. Mera future gaya, ab to shadi ki baat karenge, jisse meri bachpan ka dusmani hai.

Hiii I hope whatever you are going through vanishes away from your life soon. I was in your position too a few years back. So, I can totally understand you. It feels like we are in a dark tunnel and there is no end to the pain & misery. No light visible. But, trust me Miracles do happen. I hope you get out of this phase and that too, like a warrior, stronger than ever. Sending lots of power your way! Till then I can only suggest, try doing something new like a job for a few time or maybe if you are not allowed to go out much. Then try opening a low investment business. Just don't lose hope 🌹♥️
I am at the same age bracket... I have already got onsite opportunity ... I did bad on 4 years of college yet I have recieved onsite opportunities. Some people and even parents will say... 10/12th clear kar liya toh life normal kat jayegi... Fairly speaking ... 10/12th toh sirf starting hai... Double mehnat toh uske baad lagti hai... So don't stress on studies too much... Just keep thinking of where you can apply all that you are learning... Don't worry luck will be bad some times but good luck will come following that too

To everyone who is going through boards, don't sweat it. 5 years back i gave my boards, I was never a "good student" but I was not a bad one either. Till 10th standard, I managed to score great just by pulling off all nighters just a day before an exam and I imagined it would be the same this time, long story short, it wasn't. I was unable to cover that abomination of a syllabus in a mere span of 48 hrs. If you're wondering an all nighter only has 24 hrs then yes you're right but i figured if everyone was so tensed about it, i would give it an extra 24 hrs, should have given alot more. Anyways, I was able to pull through somehow, managed to score 70%. Yep, not enough to survive inside the ferocious environment of an indian household, let's just say my parents were not too ecstatic about it. I was hoping to pursue BTech CS since I was always great at coding but that mere 70% wasn't enough to get me a great college so I reckoned i would just pursue BCA, which I did. BEST.DECISION.EVER.. My college wasn't all that great but I wasn't a guy who attended lectures anyways, I spent all the time I could playing around with code as much as I could, and partying ofcourse, since BCA isn't nearly as hard as Btech, still managed to grab a campus placement last year. Now I am a software developer at an unnamed organization with a good enough package for a 20yr old. Life is good.

I just passed class 11 and came in class 12. I'm a humanities student who's aiming to give NDA along with boards in 2024. I am here giving my 12th board exams in 2024... I'm writing this comment on 16th March... I have given 3 exams out of which only 1 went good and I am expecting 90+ on it but other 2 will be in 80s... The main problem is the rest of the 3 exams I am not at all confident that I will be getting 90+ because I have been an average student my whole life, barely scoring enough to pass... So getting even 80% is a big deal for me... But my parents are having a high expectation of 90+... After college I'll be giving Judiciary exams so deep down I know these 12th marks are baseless for me... But my parents want me to score 90+ just to tell relatives and others that I'm good enough... But deep down I know I can't achieve that 90+ mark... It's just not possible for me...

Bharath, I think 99% of Indians will relate to you and your personal story more and more as we as a nation and society mature.
There are many more engineers from private engineering colleges who are doing great in their careers than the majority of IIT graduates. The concepts, teaching (good and bad lecturers exist in all colleges and sectors), curriculum doesn't differ much in core engineering courses.
It's all dependent on the students' interests and passion to continue in the technical field or shift to govt jobs, management or administration.

You have to think according to future, With the increasing population you need an USP, an certification above others. People may have same skills but certification gives gurantee without work. People go to IIT for network and certification, not solely studies.
@@gurdeepsg12 I was talking about individual cases. Not generalising. Any student who is keenly interested in his domain will do well in his studies and future career instead of just focussing on JEE and then resting on their laurels.
Many IITians who graduated are now doing non technical work and hence a waste of their subsidised education. Many want to go to IIT just for the sake of it without keen interest in tech. I'm talking about those.
Those who didn't make it to IIT but enrolled in good private colleges particularly in Karnataka, TN get same type of jobs and prospects.
I guess ur from north so u won't know much about these things. In north there is no huge number of engg & medical colleges /capita as we have in south.

I was in class 10th during the first lockdown, and due to corona I got careless and my class 10th didn't go very well ( although I got good percentage as class 10th was skipped ). Next year, Corona again came when I was in 11th class , and I almost failed in 11th. In my 12th, due to my carelessness, I did a blunder. I kept trying excelling in a subject(physics) and didn't focus on others, and now I am going to repeat class 12th. I don't think, anyone reading this would be worse than me
