Just been given a very, very similar WW11 binocular made by Anchor Corp, BUT, with dirty fogged-up lenses...is there a youtube video showing a complete DIY overhaul?
Easy to do ...use a jar opener to take out the big lenses The eye piece lenses unscrew Prisms are in a cradle ..easy to pull out both top and bottom prism all at once Keep jars ready for the screws Like said ... Jar grip openers ..put round big lenses covers and firmly unscrew Cheers
Do not remove the prisms if they individual held by a brass spring bar Just the lenses with a soft cloth and water ..then polish and dry air then wipe .
