So agree with number 3. I took my VN ex to UK and seeing how she interacted with my elderly relatives was genuinely heart warming. We are still friends 8 years on and we always ask how each others elderly relatives are, something I leaened from my time there. In the west we are taught that we need to seperate from our families as soon as we turn 18 but seeing how the VN treat family changed my outlook.
In 1998 just after Vietnam and the US opened ties with each other, I went back to Vietnam and married the sister of one of my Vietnamese acquaintances. 23 years now and not a day goes by that I don't thank my lucky stars for meeting such a wonderful lady. Also, if you can get in with the Vietnamese community in your area, you will find plenty of Vietnamese girls/women that are looking for a "Western" man. Plus they will speak English. Also you will avoid the situation where the Vietnamese woman is just looking for a ticket to the West and ditch you later.

Maybe you can do a video on overcoming the obstacles between USA and VN relationship.There are many. If they plan to live together in USA. Few VN women can do it and be happy (reasons: distance from family, child(s) from prior marriage can be complicated, elder care of parents, family resistance to American relationship, the American should learn VN language mostly to communicate with her family, USA sometimes can be difficult on immigration, it is likely that money will often need to be sent to VN to help her family in VN). I would also add, the American must really embrace the VN culture. Should plan on a lifetime of visits to Vietnam to visit family. When it works, it works well... but it takes many issues to be solve for a happy life.

My X Vietnamese girl friend hit me and beat me and her special needs 5 year old. I did most the cooking, cleaning, home work with her child, paper work, and errands. She dressed like a guy, drunk on weekends, had bedbugs and cockroaches in her family homes. It was a nightmare. I did everything to show love. I massaged her every day. I even baked her a birthday cake from scratch. I was broke and homeless for 3 months once I escaped her.
