I loved it so much. I always love your "Thank you" lettering in the end. The ink concoction is really beautiful that u showed in the beginning.
Thank You! Now that I've muddled ink there's no going back! It's so fun to try to make "just the right colour" or adjust a colour I don't like to make it acceptable or great for me:)
Thanks for sharing!!!!!! Earthy inks are also my vibe!!!
Thank you! I've been finding a lot of new favorites in Kobe so far!
Your handwriting is aspirational, and I very much approve your choice of inks!
Thank You! Handwriting has been a journey in itself! As to inks, I've really been enjoying the Kobe Inks- lots of great earth tones there especially green!
I love your collection, I love your woodworking items, and I love your handwriting! Great video. So glad to have watched it. 😍
Thank you! Much appreciated! I've been able to do some curating to my collection since shooting the video, so I'm happy for that!
Great video, I really enjoyed it. I also love peachy pink coral inks, especially if they’re a bit dusty. Thank you for sharing and hoping to see more of you!
Thank you! Yes, I love dusty and earthy undertones in inks! The exploration never ends! :)
5:36 great b-roll! 👌
Thank you! Gotta get a close-up of that Pelikan :)
Great video! You have beautiful penmanship that matches your lovely collection! 😍 It was interesting to hear what pen solidified your love for this hobby, and fun to see writing samples of different nibs in your collection. It was cool to see a demonstration of the line variation that you can get from different nibs in one video, too! 🖋️
Thank You! I really like the Falcon, especially now that it's been modified, but I'm not much a fan of the pen itself. I can appreciate it for what it is, but find it uncomfortable to write with and not very drawing aesthetically.
I love trying different nibs and find vintage nibs, especially the grinds, very fascinating!
YAY yOU DID IT
Yes, I did it! Thanks very much! :)
This was great!
Thank you! Much appreciated:)
Your Stipula is stunning. 😍 I also am all about specialty grinds and flex nibs. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you! She has a special place in my inky heart:) what are some of your favorite grinds so far?
@@fountainPENdulum My fave is cursive italic; but also enjoy architect, reverse architect, stubs and of course flex. My first (and more than likely only) Scribo with the 14k EF flex is on it's way to me - so excited! I also enjoy the vintage Esterbrook nibs. I have one Estie with an mv adaptor that I use exclusively for the vintage nibs.
@Tina.Journals That's great you've tried and enjoyed a variety of grinds! Very Nice! Scribo flex is an exciting purchase, Congrats!
I love the variation of the line width you got from that Sailor Pro Gear with the Hybrid Architect nib - your writing looks so wonderful where you use the reverse of the nib to contrast the lines of the text above, beautiful! Thanks for sharing your journey :)
Thank you! This was a very fun grind, and Mark Bacas did an excellent job on the Hybrid Architect with a reverse Ultra Extra Fine! It wrote so smoothly for being so fine!
So interesting to hear your pen and nib journey. I also really enjoy specialty and customized nibs, so seeing some of yours was a massive treat - that modified Pilot Falcon is fantastic! 😍Thank you for sharing with us!!
Thank You! The modified Falcon nib is a pretty special nib! The design is gorgeous, and after having it modified, it's a joy to write with! The first Nibmeister I talked to about the Mod thought it was redundant to have a Cursive Italic with Flex, but I don't agree, I love it:)
I have been so looking forward to your video! I need to pick your brain about vintage flex!
Thank you! You pick my brain, and I'll pick someone else's! :)
LOVE the video! BTW, what was the pen and ink at the end. GORGEOUS!!!
Thank You! Much appreciated! The Pen at the end is my Stipula Etruria, don't tell the others, but she's a favored pen:)
The Ink was Ferris Wheel Press, Coral in Wonderland, after it had dried!
My first pen was from my college supply store too!!
Oh wow! Yeah, I think I had perhaps seen Calligraphy pens at craft stores like Michael's before, but this Shaeffer set at the college supply store looked nice, so I thought I'd give it a shot! I picked it up again to do this video and was thought, 'huh. not bad.' :)
@@fountainPENdulum mine is also surprisingly reliable and still writing, lol!
There are going to be a lot of comments from me...Who customized your falcon? Also, I just ordered my first Kobe samples. What are some of your favorites?
Kobe #34 Sorakuen Tea Green is the one that started it all for me! Definitely a favorite Kobe and a favorite green at that! What Kobe Samples did you order?
Masuyama did this Falcon customization for me and did superb work!
