Awesome dude it shows with same tools and same hands you could have whatever you want when you can't buy the expensive top name brands, I can't afford it so I took your idea and got a free tool box to get the diamond plate from it for my Ram gate and made me a top dollar iron bumper thanks bud 🤠 yee yee
Looks phenomenal. I’m definitely using this video for reference but I would recommend using a piece of flat strap the connect the pipe to your headlight arms. If something hits those are they’ll fold in and possibly dent your front fenders
You got all that done in that short period of time and it looks good. Great work man. Your obviously a metal worker of some sort 🎉 seriously dude good job. Could you lift that bumper by yourself?
Can you show us how that ranch hand hooks up the the frame or however it works,I recently bought the same one but it didn’t come with the brackets so I need to figure out how to put it on my truck.
I used all scrap materials I had laying around but you need about 4’x8’ sheet of diamond plate, 2’x4’ sheet of expanded metal and a 5’ stick of 4 1/2” pipe if you cut it in half like I did. No idea what it would cost since I didn’t have to buy mine, I would guess all new stuff would run you about $400
I think I should tell you should trim back Hit a little bit don't put the bumper so close to the Is body because the body of your car and the frame actually moved separately So if you hit a big bump or multiple hip bumps it can cause a damage to your body of your Truck I figured I should warn you about that knew about that not sure how old this video is though he was dumb maybe he already found that out
That’s for letting me know, so far so good though. I live on a really rough dirt road abs have t had a problem yet, but I might drop it some just in case

Great work young man. As always I love watching your videos. Your parents must be so proud. Keep it up.
Thank you!
That bumper looks dope 🔥💯💪
Love the videos, makes me wish I stayed making vids of my project trucks
Gettin it done brother. Love your style
Wow, that looks awesome!
Thank you!
Looks great !!! I had been thinking of doing the same thing, taking a grill guard and building a bumper... 👍
It’s a good amount of work, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.
@@skylarwagner1155 well hell 4th gen ram ranch hand is about 1100, second hand grill guard and some time would be worth the savings..

I did weld one to connect them. Thought I had that in the video, but maybe I did not.
damn dad impressive and looking good
Thanks brother!
Awsome job! New subscriber here! Ive been looking to build one for my 2000 7.3 Gonna look at local JYs for those grill guards
They should be pretty easy to find

Thank you! I had to have my dad help me lift it. It was a little too bulky for me to lift by myself. It probably weighed around 200 pounds.
Make one for me dad
I’m trying to build the same bumper can you tell what all Materials you needed and how much of it you needed

Look at 2:04 in the video and you can kind of see them. I’ll make a short video that answers a few questions I’m getting.
@@skylarwagner1155 thank you so much
Id cut it so its just clear of the body, with thr amount of frame flex you want atleaat an inch of gap there, and thats with nice stiff mounts
I did decide to drop it some awhile back and I am glad I did. Did not realize the truck had that much frame flex.

What did you use to cut the plate? Plasma cutter, grinder, torch?
I cut it by hand with a plasma cutter.
What were the pipe angles and how did you find them?
The angle is around 15 degrees, I just eyeballed it and cut at what I thought looked the best.
@@skylarwagner1155 thanks just started to build mind yesterday
Why does bro look like Ryan Reynolds
lol, I have heard that a few times.
What gauge are you using?
1/8” diamond plate
3/16” pipe
What rod did you use
I used 6011s
