I love how when Chris asks to go to Buck's house to play video games Eddie gives Buck a look that says "Say yes, I dare you." Orrrrrrr "There is a right answer and a wrong answer. I swear if you say yes."
Honestly I can't do this anymore. I've done over 20 years of Elliott and Olivia. I did 10 years of McDanno. 5 years of Hannigram, not to mention Killing Eve and their drama. Can I please just have my goddamn Buddie. Jesus Christ I'm tired of this crap
i am absolutely gonna need another one of these with season 6’s parallels, especially with whatever’s coming in 6x06 and all the similarities there will be with henren and buddie.
Thank. you for your marvellous work. Yeap, all the romantic tropes are indeed obviously there as you have just so clearly demonstrated. And about the idea of Buck and Eddie's endgame being settled with just a mere bromance: resolution in Art is about "forbidden love", "return from a long voyage", "rescue from dire straits", "vengeance and justice accomplished" or "sacrifice and redemption". These have been the worthy, valuable and cherished endgames for thousands of years since lengthy and meaningful storytelling was invented by humankind for humankind. "Bromance" has never been included within the categories mentioned above. That is why bromance is such a bad idea for an endgame. Forbidden love may or may not apply and happen in this entirely fictional story for these characters but it would be the only emotionally satisfactory resolution for their trajectories together. Any other ending would be a very lukewarm, insipid and tepid solution with no drama, gracefulness, congruity or elegance at all.

At this point, even the historians will be like "idk about these two..."
And they were ✨roommates✨
chim and maddie: “BUCK”
buck: *had an entire 9 year old stepson that his bestie baby trapped him with*
The accuracy of these parallels. Everyone sees it. Just let it happen universe!
*Just let it happen writers!
The writers are the only thing, that stands between Buddie.
Even when they're not officially together they still have a much more solid "married couple" relationship than any others in the show.
