Their culture and tradition is vibrant and colorful. We from philippines admire the mexicans fir keeping it traditional becoz filipinos have lost their culture already. Americanized already.
Well, if you really want to get technical and we probably should, aren't these dances based off of Spanish tradition? So really it's mostly Spanish based as would a lot of Filipino culture too I'm sure.

We filipinos on the other hand had adapted spanish culture too mixed with our very own but now everything is on the brink of extinction. So americanized. We like to speak englisg instead of filipino and we follow american fashion, culture and language. Mexicans stay true to their roots.
@@iamhereblossom1588 uhh no, not everything is based on Spanish culture, we have 32 states, and even they can be divided into regions that have different styles (mariachi as the shown in the video), there are prehispanic dances too, we also have been influenced by other american countries such as Panamá or Chile, or European Polkas brought to the northern states of México. And I'm sure Philipines is a great country too, I've seen videos where people there share very similar traditions!

My understanding is most of Mexican culture today is inspired by Spanish culture as most of Mexico is now mestizo and not only indigenous, the indigenous population is a lot smaller and the Spanish destroyed and prohibited a lot of indigenous Mexican culture during the invasion. There is of course smaller niche cultures but widely it seems to be Spanish based correct?
My abuela teaches this. Wish I started lessons on it before moving to England - I remember getting a skirt for some dress-up day at school but never actually started dancing. It looks so fun!

Se requiere de tiempo, y muchos ensayos, no solo es ir a bailar, se necesita de hacer ejercicios de condicionamiento, gracias a Dios donde yo estoy nos dan clases de ballet para el equilibrio y para aguantar la falda sin cansarnos
woah! I had no clue my culture was so cool!! I was born in Mexico but raised in the United States. The meaning behind this dance and the beauty of it is amazing! God is soooo good!!! Im reminded of Psalm 139, in summary, it just declares that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. God cares so deeply about his creation and He adorns us with His own hands. I am absolutely gonna do this at my wedding by Gods Grace!!!! 😁😁😁😁

I use to dance this but I quit because first of all I was new there so I didn't know crap and I will always trip when I twirl, but it's so beautiful, I gave up so all those people out there that think there so bad at dancing don't give up, cause that's what I did
