Haven’t heard this song since I was 14! I’m 33 years now!
I was just doing my skin routine and voilà “hey lush have fun, it’s the weekend” came to my head, felt butterflies like wth, I know this song! I know it’s from TBS, googled it and here I am! This is the best version, wish it was on Spotify! Thanks for uploading this song ❤

This sounds pretty great, but “Feeling this” by Blink, has one of the most bittersweet and emotional set of overlapping vocals at the end, and also, we can’t yk leave out The Beach Boys. Listen to like “God Only Knows”

I went through a pretty bad heartbreak as a teenager. I forget how sensitive and confused we are at that age. I'm glad I had songs like this to get me through it all.
This basically drains the emotion out of me. It's kind of scary but really quite refreshing too.
It's been about 13+(?) Years and this song still reminds me of my first love and exactly how I felt. I spent MANY nights as an emo girl listening to this but... it's still good...

Ah, finally! The original! Most of the versions floating around seem to be the 2004-ish redone version with the ginger guy that replaced John Nolan. Not the same

@@Pand45 Right?? Even though the production is a bit 'rougher' on this cut, the emotions are so much more naked and direct, rather than that Coldplay-ish, "This is a sad song, can't you tell? It's got acoustic guitar!!'-vibe of the later renditions

I'm from LI, and I remember I happened to catch these guys realllly early on cos my older brother was into them, I didn't really know what I was seeing...it was before the album came out, just the EP, but if I remember they did a sort of 'heavy guitars' version of this, and I definitely remember them playing "Ballad of Sal Villanueva" (Adam jumped into the crowd, and some of the people there were half trying to beat him up, lol--he was not a 'star' yet). But the whole vibe at that point, was very sloppy, sweaty, rough around the edges, but you just...felt the vibes, man.
