True, but you must priorize turn 1 Rafflesia if you want to stop the Nibiru, if you run paralell eXceed you can easily extend past the Rafflesia and go Pinguicula or Allomerus for a ridiculous turn 1.

Honestly, beside the FBI bait joke and stuff, Traptrix is surprising really fun to play. As of right now, you don't even need floodgate like the old days, just all in archetypes interruption.
That first turn could've been better though (for me at least), instead of summoning arachnocampia (by sera's effect), you could summon dionaea, take back the sent normal trap from gy, summon pingu using the two traptrix (don't use holutea), use pingu effect to take arachnocampia and then SS her, now u can either make a rafflesia or redoer with trap material (quick effect spin back card to deck), or if u afraid of lightning storm or duster u can instead not xyz summon
@@RobinsAssistant Depends on if you run welcome labrynth which locks you out of your Traptrix monsters for at least a turn or two or big welcome labrynth which returns one monster you control instead for a special summon from the hand, gy, or deck. I'm personally running the latter because it doesn't lock you out of your Traptrix plays.

Aside from Welcome Labrynth which I don't run for the reason that it locks you into Fiend monsters for at least two turns and thus ruins any synergy the two archetypes might have otherwise. Big Welcome Labrynth is far better because it on your opponent's turn A) can get you one of your big Labrynth boss monsters from the deck, hand, or gy B) can bounce one of your Traptrix monsters as a form of protection, C) depending on the monster you bring out you can either have an indestructible by card effect untargetable monster with 3000 atk or a monster that applies a super polymerization like effect to your normal trap cards and can destroy a card in your opponent's hand each time you activate a normal trap card and oh lets you set one from your gy once per turn.
Ran into Traptrix earlier testing an Ancient Warriors deck I built and it’s a brute to go against. That game was followed up by two straight games against Sky Striker. Talk about running the gauntlet of frustration.

I use the Insecktor Link monster with resonance insect and gokipole to search Beargram in mine. Since it's basically dark hole that doesn't effects plants or insects and protects backrow while having a big body on board.
This is not correct. The protection is a continuous effect as long as it remains on the field. Only Rafflesia itself loses trap protection when it doesn't have materials.
@@koidayoIndeed true 👌🏽 Cali saying the protection was thanks to Rafflesia was incorrect though. Having Garden on board was the main reason he couldn't beat over the board in battle phase. The opponent didn't make a mistake like Cali said they did. The opp just didn't have a choice 😅
I'll be real, I'm more interested in Labrynth than Traptrix, but ever since the new pack dropped I've been seeing these bugs everywhere and I can't seem to get a win.
Currently running a build with 1x Rikka Princess and 1x Mardel in the main with Jasmine, Strenna, Sunavalon Dryas (just to break Princess plant lock), Appaloosa, and Teardrop in the extra. Same line of play as the Therion package with 3 less bricks, down side is you trade Regulus omni negate for Rikka Princess monster negate.
@@LA_CERTIFIED90 Pretty good so far, Rikka Princess just works as a plant level 4 extender that’s searchable through the Jasmine line of play like in Therion Traptrix. You still have access to the normal Traptrix open as well so it just opens up a new line play.

Link Sera and a plant into Jasmine, overlay into Strenna at link point. Strenna effect to add back Dionea if dionae is in grave or material for Strenna. Jasmine effect tribute Strenna to summon Mardel. CL1 Mardel, CL2 Strenna. Strenna summon Teardrop and attach. Mardel add Princess. Princess effect to summon. Link Princess for Dryas. Link Jasmine, Dryas and Mardel into 3 mat Apo (Bengalancer if you’re plant/insect locked). This is 3 negate apo, Teardrop quick effect tribute, Princess negate, and any traprix traps/effect (like Holetea special back Pudica to banish, if you have a trap set special Sera to generate more advantage). Edit: This isn’t a very meta strategy, but very fun either way because most people playing against Traptrix is expecting Raf set 2 pass.
Honestly its funny how traptrix new link 3 is not a quick effect negate but every other deck in existence gets a quick effect negate intentionally hindering traptrix for some reason is fine i guess lol bit of a rant 😅 still love my traps regardless

There's only 1 Arachnocampa in the decklist. To be honest I don't think having Pinguicula sitting there did much. I understand that it can come up against branded to steal a monster they sent to make Albion, but I wouldn't know whether it was a Bystial Chaos deck or a Branded TD deck.
@@timaeus22222the steal can come up against a lot of archetype though if it doesn’t it’s not the worst because if she manages to stick around it’s a search on your next turn. All with the same amount of protection provided by the current board in this video.

2 things u werent 100% correct on in the first duel ... sera triggers with any normal trap (even ur opponent's) and not just trap hole trap cards ..... and yes rafflesia protects from destruction but ao does traptrip garden
With that many trap cards I don't really agree with Cularia or Baromet in the ED. Those cards both serve the purpose of preserving your trap cards, but his build plays already plays way more traps than most traptrix set ups so they're not really needed. I'm probably replace them with another Sera and an Underworld Goddess as an out for things like Avramax that we otherwise would have no out to. While trap trick is kind of nice as a way to proc Sera regardless of the board state, I'd probably replace those with Parallel Exceed personally. Great extender for the deck, especially since we're Link 1 reliant. So there really should be no situation where they're a brick in our hand.
tbh, I would use a 3rd Sera if I had the budget for it. I considered Parallel Exceed but it seemed overkill with Holeutea already searchable. Btw, the Redoer in my ED outs Avramax.

Wasn't as bad as Dkayed video of his replays vs decks that bricked just to make it seem like traptrix was getting dubs,but same as him you're not being honest with us. Don't overhype a deck you know is only going to be rogue
the first game was already a misplay. they needed to go holutea into dionaea, reset the gravedigger, go into pinguicula to search for arachnocampa, special summon it, then go into rafflesia ending on 3 set, pinguicula, sera, and rafflesia. they also set the wrong trap fron deck. they needed to set something with more impact like floodgate so they had multiple forms of unique interaction. traptrix is strong but this player isn't. Guy's list isn't good either. Tune is mid as shit. You don't need 3 field. it's a 1-2 at most. Need to be running 2-3 Dionaea. He's running too many copies of trap holes and traptrick when he should instead be making his going second better by running evenly. you can run less individual copies of trap holes and instead run more singleton names since you can keep recycling them with dionaea.

I swear I always draw field spell and not pudica, or draw trap that can activate itself but no trap to resolve it guess master duel hates me.

I played against this deck a couple times in Master rank. But the builds are so bad, same with the Lab builds playing furniture.
