- This tree was removed just down the road from my house. As soon as I saw the tree I decided to make a bowl from it. The star shape found on the inside where the limbs come together is the reason for making these turnings.
Darren well that turned out really cool buddy, well done.
Thank you Alan, appreciate your comments.
I've never seen such pattern on a wood and it's beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you one turn. Appreciate your comments and glad to show something a little different
Very interesting star shape design in the bottom of the bowl.
Indeed it is
Very nice, the knots in the bowl are beautiful.
Thank you. The limbs that show up in the bottom are the reason for turning that wood.
Incredible how the tree makes such a natural star pattern I realize that's the name but I've never seen the inside to match! Another beautiful bowl Darren!
Thank you Mr Z. Hope you are having a great day.
Thank you David z.

Thank you Mark, glad to show someone something different. Appreciate your comments
Nice bowl Dazza mate.
I'm not a fan of pine at all, however, those lines and branches sure do make for an spectacular looking piece.
Thank you Mike, someone pointed out to me awhile back that this tree , though often called a pine really is not. I agree. This wood is beautiful because of those limbs making an appearance at the bottom.
Nice as always.
Thank you Walt. Always nice to hear from you
Very well done sir
Thank you Dan, thank you for you comment.
Very cool
Thank you very much. Every comment helps.
I could use that bowl ..
Ya it’s a beauty
What a beauty. With the “waves” and knots and then the “star” in the bottom. It’s really lovely. It’s like those moon jellyfish
