Oh boy are you in for a treat! This Brown Sugar & Mustard Glazed Tofu is so delicious, that I have trouble not eating the whole thing in one sitting! Inspired by glazed ham with the diamond shapes and cloves, Brown Sugar & Mustard Glazed Tofu is the perfect centrepiece for Easter dinner or any holiday feast. This tofu roast looks all sorts of fancy, but it's actually really easy to prepare. Brown Sugar & Mustard Glazed Tofu takes just 10 ingredients and a bit of time to make. Sweet & savoury at home cooking has never been so good!
The tofu is coated in a sticky brown sugar glaze with mustard, garlic, and a hint of cinnamon. The outside of the tofu is chewy and it almost forms a skin, while the inside remains tender and juicy. This tofu is so delicious and simple that you may want to make this for a regular weeknight. See my tip for cloves in the recipe notes for a slightly quicker version.

After 30 minutes of roasting I added carrots, brussel sprouts, and potatoes and continued baking and also with the added glaze. Meal done in one dish. 👍

This Recipe is Freakin Amazing. I made 3 tofu steaks for Thanksgiving I did add a teaspoon of vegan ham broth powder to the marinade. This dish was a hit it had all the flavors of a holiday ham I also made extra sauce & I didn't use cinnamon because I loved the taste without it. I was very surprised how well this tasted. Thank you for the inspiration. I really appreciate this video.

This looks so good! I have a recipe for "ham flavored" seitan that takes a lot more work, but really rocks. I have a lot of tofu in the freezer and might make this when a "ham" craving hits. It's great to see you back!

everyone always wanted to play Battleship and no one wanted to play cat’s cradle strings with me? darn life sometimes. You should see when I’m done with my experiments of trying to recreate Russian sausage with rice paper. I do love freshly ground clove tops in ital cabbage rice. Cooking with Ras has a recipe for that but doesn’t add the clove I don’t think but I do it like that, & I love to use coconut oil for that dish- as long as no bacon grease or butter & is ital is alrighty

I love this recipe and I've cooked it several times. However, I always let it get cold to firm up because it's too jelly like when it's hot. I do use firm tofu and press it beforehand. Any suggestions? 🤔
Try using extra-firm tofu as I recommend. Extra-firm tofu is firmer and won't be jelly-like :)

I've had to cut tofu out because it started making my belly hurt. I'm trying to replace tofu with veggies.
you should try replacing it with a protein rich item like beans, tempeh, seitan, or quinoa. veggies aren’t able to provide the same nutritional profile as tofu!
You could try chickpea tofu if you can eat chickpeas :)
