Very nice job. I remember when BGA first came out and they said there was no way to reball a device - and back then I'm sure there wasn't. Now with the right tools and materials, it can be done. Two comments- 1) where is your anti-static strap and 2) is your shirt anti-static since you wiped the DIMM on your shirt?!

Even if you claim to use wrist straps and mats for ESD safety, you should never ever be near or come in contact with any object that generates ESD while touching the circuitry. Being grounded doesn't mean you are immune to generating a charge from other objects in the area.

How do you know when a chip needs recalling though? And are chips like this tied to a motherboard or can they be replaced?? For example: can the APU of the Xbox One be replaced or is it tied down t9 the board itself? Thanks! 😄

    Thank you for the video!
    Very informative!
Did you use the ultrasonic vibration cleaner to take the stencil of the chip or to clean it?
Also do you think an IR station is better or a hot air station is better?
    Thank you!

Hello, let me know how much hot gun temperature we can apply on stencil after placing balls on chip,
and how much temperature we can set on bga machine for sticking balls of stencil to chip.
      thanks.
