Glad you're finally covering more indie games kbash. I gotta recommend you check out the LISA series next. I think the story is honestly so up your alley (talking about "LISA the painful" specifically).
Well this was a treat. Wish I didn't have to turn up here through aimlessly wondering whether a new video is about to come out soon to the community tab, through steambot letsplay and onto here, all an hour before the "worst ninja game" main channel one dropped.
I got this game near launch and I didn't end up finishing. I remember I had issues with it but I don't actually remember what those were. The very blatant incorporation of mechanics from other games felt off to me, but that's only a minor issue. Anyway I'll give it another try since I've been reminded of it.
Everhood is getting a sequel too, it touched on a interesting concept that should probably be thought about more given it's so close to something else that's kind of in our face a lot.
I actually picked this game up on Switch a pretty long time ago. The gameplay felt good and I thought the way they went about story was interesting. I ended up dropping the game unintentionally. I don’t remember why. Maybe a bigger game came out around that time, maybe life got in the way. Idk. Seeing this has made me want to pick it back up again though.
Cristales was a really pretty rpg that might have not made the most of the combat gimmick, but I was impressed with the story at the end, where they decided to go and still have a happy ending that didn't feel forced. The finale of crumble was so good it made the frustration of my first playthrough totally worth it and it's fun giving it a 2nd after getting a better feel for it.
I played it and didn't understand anything. The text sequences were cool. I got the ending where I just talked to some guy and he filled up my corruption meter, didn't know what it was for.

Oh nice! New original content, didn't even know this channel existed
Oh I’m so into this! Love to see you cover indie games and happy to get a nice short little video out of it! (You know, versus your big projects.)
