What a great model! Lots of techniques involved, too. I am an armchair modeller currently, but looking to get back into armour modelling after a thirty year absence. So much has evolved in those thirty years. You have a like and a new subscriber.
I really love the way you lay out your videos.... your technique seems to work better the the others builders I watch.. not to take away from them... I’ve been doing the for 40 years.. I’m okay at it.. anyway I’ve learn some different ways of doing things.. great job... thank you
Alex, received my mug in the mail today, and it is great. The company that shipped it done a fantastic job packing it. I have a friend at work who is from Lisbon. He really like the shirt, so I was telling him about your channel. He has a cousin who is a member of GNR. His name is Antonio "Toze" Coelho. He works in the wildlife and game department, and lives in São Joao da Talha Sacavem. I thought that would be really cool if somehow you knew him. Hope you are well and in good sports and as always stay safe my friend and have a good week. Looking forward to your next build and video. God bless.
I'm totally new to this hobby. Thanks for this video even i'm 2 years late watching you video but it give me some idea how to do colour and weathering. This video really help and inspired me to build scale 1/74. Btw i just buy my first model ESCI Tank "Flammpanzer III" 1/74 today.
Great detail added especially with the scale I struggle with 1/35 will try some of your ideas newly back into model making so like all the videos showing different techniques superb 1/72 cheers
Well done, Alex......you have created a weathered and battle-weary Tiger and, as always, an excellent commentary to follow with the visual. Inspirational job....thank you.
Nice build, but one think: Since your tank has seen a lot of damage in battle it would be cool to see white stripes on the Barrel of the main gun. Each stripe represents a confirmed tank kill, so your tank should have some. But even without this minor detail It still looks great. Nice build
I have actually the 109 and another Simple kit but to be very very honest between COVID, work, videos and mountains work on horse and exiting videos... I don t earn a lot on RUclips believe me and its a fact "loose" a bit of money by not editing videos (wich is not vital for me) but i prefer to Edit with a relaxed mind
Amazing build. Only authentic criticism are the shell marks on the back of the turret . That storage box was not armored, those two hits would have blown it into pieces. Otherwise, the build, detail and painting details are crazy good!
@@AlexModeling I just recently started building again, thanks to you and a few other youtube builders, it got me motivated again. Thanks for sharing your skills with me and everyone else
I model 1/72 scale tanks, I was not sur should I buy this kit since the revell panther g had a very bad assembly... Now you have convinced me that I should, even though my models are crap I still try to improve.
LOL I built one of these a few years back. When you said the tracks could be a bit better was an under statement. To me it was like a nightmare to stick all those tiny parts together. Infact while doing those tracks I got half a mind to give it up. I don't mind doing those type of tracks for 35th or even 48th scale but seriously 72nd? I somewhat expected rubber band tracks :p
i have a question im building this tank right now but i have problems with the tracks the tracks wont fit perfectly and i dont know where to put the tracks do you have any tips?
Look for picture of tiger tank traks... Do several trials and dry fits, with the tracks and take notice were they start and end. Watch intructions carefully and have fun
Very nicely done! I love the weathering in particular. I have built that kit at least 5 times already and the tracks just don´t fit very well, it is a known problem. I really haven´t figured out yet what to do about that.
Just cut the fit "points" thise extremities that GOES and Touch the other links? Cut it and just a small amount of super glue and just glue it to the other track... Don t use the "contact surfaces"... Cut thise out
Also this kit brings a few extra tracks... Because you cut the contact points it Will Create a small diferençe on the tracks .. so maybe One or 2 extra tracks will be needed but you will have enough... Personal experiênce Michael... But i ONLY reslised it after have oassed more than half the track build
@@TOMMY-yp6wn The tracks has each two points that fit on the other track... Thise fit points are too thick. Sand it ir cut it and the tracks will fit better.. but first experiment
Sorry, I should have asked: what brand of paints and colors did you use? I was able to see what kind of polishing powder it was by stopping the video, when it was presented. I found it online. Looks like great stuff! I've been using graphite (pencil), but this stuff is worth a try. Thanks for your videos!
Hey Alex, how are you? Hope your having a good week and in good health and spirts. Got my shirt today and wanted to tell you how much I really like it. Its my awesome! I should get the mug tomorrow or the next day. Looking forward to your next build and video. Until then my friend have and great weekend and stay safe.
The tracks are like i said a bit complicated. You have several ways to do it. I don t shiw it because my way may be jot tge easiest way... Onky because of that reason is why i didn t filmed it tge whole way
Great build Alex,I liked how you put your personal touch on the tank. I just finished my 747-8F 1/144th. It went well fragile landing gear. I just received my new kit. Few 190A-8 Edward ProfiPACK (82147 kit number) in 1/48 scale. I never used PE parts, so if its okay I have some questions. Obrigado meu amigo! ( hope my Portuguese is not wrong). Have a great week and God bless Alex.
You did a great job, looks amazing. However, there is a problem with this model, the cupola is not that of a Tiger H1. Revell used to make great kits, they messed this one up.
Hi alex, the Tank looks nice, but really Alex , your Models are really beautiful , but the Tiger Tank have many deficid , look the Chain Track 39:27 to 39:40 , you can do really better. Paint job looks fantastic, plastic chain track horrible

Amazing paint job! In scale tracks are a nightmare!
Really great job! I was always hesitant on trying a 1/72 tank as they did seem a bit small but I look into getting one! Thanks for the inspiration!

Amazing model! I reckon if the putty was ever so slightly thicker, the zimmerit would look outstanding. But other than that, incredible job

Great work Alex! Especially the zimmerit!

Wow, very nice....what was the name of the yellow paint?
Dunkelgelb
@@AlexModeling It's german for dark yellow
To create more realisme at scale, you could have made the side panels and fenders out of aluminum foil. ( cut out a soda-can for example)

Excellent.

What yellow color is that?
