    Tip: get the cloth damp before putting it on the vacuum. Otherwise you get streaks for the first few minutes while it's getting wet.

    This is our third robot vacuum in about 5 years.🌼 What a difference this one is! Love the no brushes as we have all laminate. She’s (Masha the maid) a real trash mouth and picks up a lot. Quiet and gets the job done in her own willy nilly way. I haven’t used the mop function yet.

    Thanks! I just got it and I’ve only tried vacuuming, I prefer it to the I robot but this is the first time I’ve tried mopping. So far it looks pretty good. I’ve cordoned it off into a small room and so far, so good. Thanks for helping me get started 😊
    Great video, just what I was looking for

    My friend hates to admit this to her friends, but this was her favorite Christmas present. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g While I used to do the floors, since she hated doing them, this has changed things in our house. In one easy to use motion it sucks, dampens, cleans and dries the floor with a super clean and walk on a minute later surface. Load up the tank with solution and water to make it ready is about all you have to do. The big tank setting will do our kitchen, dinning room, hallway and entry with no problems.We do a light vacuum or sweep first to get rid of the big stuff, but if you floor isn't that bad, you wouldn't have too. We have kids, dog, neighbor kids, and winter crud, so our floors are usually that bad. It will handle anything, but just gets dirty faster and more hair is why we might get the big stuff. We can do everything from pulling it out to sucking to cleaned up in about 30 minutes, so it makes it quick and easy. Biggest thing is the floors are pretty much dry after you move the vacuum over them. No tracking, waiting, or foot prints everywhere. Cleaning is easy with sink rinse and let it air out a bit to dry. 5 minutes to cleanup and set to dry.I give credit to my sister, as she is a professional clean freak and this is her baby with about 1,000 sft of floor that has to be cleaned. She LOVES this and that is why we now have one. Great buy!

    Something that I noticed with my V7 is that it will totally avoid the area where the charger is by around a 2.5-3' radius. Or perhaps I'm imagining that. So far there's only a few small gripes I have with it though, and for the cost, you can't beat it. Time will tell how the operating lifespan is though.

    • @CordlessVacuumGuide
      @CordlessVacuumGuide  8 лет назад +4

      Yup it relies on an IR signal so it will avoid the area near the robot :)

    For moping, do you use just watter or can you add some other product to the water?

    • @CordlessVacuumGuide
      @CordlessVacuumGuide  7 лет назад +9

      As long as it has the same consistency as water, it's okay to mix in cleaning solution. Don't add anything thick or it may clog the posts.

    • @aprilw.4916
      @aprilw.4916 2 года назад +2

      Hi. I literally just had this issue and wondered if something was obstructing the water from flowing and I had so much dust and dirt buildup inside where the tank sits that was the problem. I cleaned it up and the holes were covered. Once I got it clean, it's working perfectly. Give it a try.

    • @CordlessVacuumGuide
      @CordlessVacuumGuide  4 года назад +2

      It is decent but don't expect too much when it comes to features. The gravity tank doesn't have a feature that regulates water flow so there is a risk of the pad getting soaking wet if you don't remove the pad or run it too long. It also uses a standard navigational algorithm so it just pinballs in a random direction. If you are okay with those limitations it is a decent option but expect to some babysitting.

    • @CordlessVacuumGuide
      @CordlessVacuumGuide  4 года назад +1

      around 3/4s of the tank. Since it uses a gravity tank, the pad will be wet and should be enough to cover that area. I wouldn't recommend using it to clean a dirty floor.

    I have hardwood floors but a very low pile rug in the middle of my living room. I’ve gotten mixed answers as to whether or not, in mopping mode, it will stay off the rug and just do the floor. Do you have any experience/answers with regard to this? Thanks again :-)

    • @CordlessVacuumGuide
      @CordlessVacuumGuide  4 года назад +2

      Robin, nope this model doesn't have that feature. It uses a standard navigation algorithm, so that means it just pinballs around, if there are rugs there, it will try to go over it. This is an older ILIFE model that doesn't have any app, or any of the advanced navigational software.

    • @robin31165
      @robin31165 4 года назад

      Cordless Vacuum Guide Thanks! I bought one that has a better navigation system, I don’t really like the pin bowling idea myself. That’s OK for a vacuum but it doesn’t really work when floors will be wet. 😊
