This is our third robot vacuum in about 5 years.🌼 What a difference this one is! Love the no brushes as we have all laminate. She’s (Masha the maid) a real trash mouth and picks up a lot. Quiet and gets the job done in her own willy nilly way. I haven’t used the mop function yet.
Thanks! I just got it and I’ve only tried vacuuming, I prefer it to the I robot but this is the first time I’ve tried mopping. So far it looks pretty good. I’ve cordoned it off into a small room and so far, so good. Thanks for helping me get started 😊 Great video, just what I was looking for
My friend hates to admit this to her friends, but this was her favorite Christmas present. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g While I used to do the floors, since she hated doing them, this has changed things in our house. In one easy to use motion it sucks, dampens, cleans and dries the floor with a super clean and walk on a minute later surface. Load up the tank with solution and water to make it ready is about all you have to do. The big tank setting will do our kitchen, dinning room, hallway and entry with no problems. We do a light vacuum or sweep first to get rid of the big stuff, but if you floor isn't that bad, you wouldn't have too. We have kids, dog, neighbor kids, and winter crud, so our floors are usually that bad. It will handle anything, but just gets dirty faster and more hair is why we might get the big stuff. We can do everything from pulling it out to sucking to cleaned up in about 30 minutes, so it makes it quick and easy. Biggest thing is the floors are pretty much dry after you move the vacuum over them. No tracking, waiting, or foot prints everywhere. Cleaning is easy with sink rinse and let it air out a bit to dry. 5 minutes to cleanup and set to dry.I give credit to my sister, as she is a professional clean freak and this is her baby with about 1,000 sft of floor that has to be cleaned. She LOVES this and that is why we now have one. Great buy!
Something that I noticed with my V7 is that it will totally avoid the area where the charger is by around a 2.5-3' radius. Or perhaps I'm imagining that. So far there's only a few small gripes I have with it though, and for the cost, you can't beat it. Time will tell how the operating lifespan is though.
I bought this ILIFE V5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner in March 2021 from amazon & it is dead in less than 3 months. Seller is not responding & ILIFE customer care is not bothered to respond.
I second on this, bought ILIFE V5s Vacuum Cleaner last month & it started working intermittently, had a feel that it will be dead in next few weeks. As mentioned, customer care of ILife is useless & don’t respond. Even checked with amazon, they also sound helpless.
Motherboard of ILIFE Vacuum Cleaner bought two months ago got corrupted. There is no customer care in ILife, when complained about motherboard damaged, they talk about charging, absolute waste.
Taking cues from positive feedback on youtube, bought this ILIFE V5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner this year & it stopped working in less than 6 months with no response from seller on warranty & repair.
The product ILIFE V5s Vacuum Cleaner is completely crap & did not survive for 2 months , not sure how come so many positive reviews are there, it seems Ilife is trying to mislead & using fake reviews to sell their crap product.
Bought ILIFE V5s Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner last month from amazon & it stopped working now. Though warranty is mentioned for a year but Customer care of Ilife is pathetic & not responding, anyone can suggest on how to get this faulty machine replaced.
So you also go duped by Ilife, you can try everything, ILife will not respond. I tried reaching seller to customer care to organization manager but nothing worked out.

What do you do with the mop attachment after mopping? Wash it by hand? Throw it in the wash? If you used the robot to mop once a day, how long until you need a new pad?

Water its not flowing on mine, do you any tip on that? the outlets drips when outside the robot, but once i put th etank on it, it doesnt wets the pad, and the tank its still full
Hi. I literally just had this issue and wondered if something was obstructing the water from flowing and I had so much dust and dirt buildup inside where the tank sits that was the problem. I cleaned it up and the holes were covered. Once I got it clean, it's working perfectly. Give it a try.

I want a robot that mops only but don’t want to spent hundreds of dollars, Will you honestly recommended me this robot if I use it only for mopping , does it worth it? Does it really mops?
It is decent but don't expect too much when it comes to features. The gravity tank doesn't have a feature that regulates water flow so there is a risk of the pad getting soaking wet if you don't remove the pad or run it too long. It also uses a standard navigational algorithm so it just pinballs in a random direction. If you are okay with those limitations it is a decent option but expect to some babysitting.
around 3/4s of the tank. Since it uses a gravity tank, the pad will be wet and should be enough to cover that area. I wouldn't recommend using it to clean a dirty floor.
I have hardwood floors but a very low pile rug in the middle of my living room. I’ve gotten mixed answers as to whether or not, in mopping mode, it will stay off the rug and just do the floor. Do you have any experience/answers with regard to this? Thanks again :-)
Robin, nope this model doesn't have that feature. It uses a standard navigation algorithm, so that means it just pinballs around, if there are rugs there, it will try to go over it. This is an older ILIFE model that doesn't have any app, or any of the advanced navigational software.
Cordless Vacuum Guide Thanks! I bought one that has a better navigation system, I don’t really like the pin bowling idea myself. That’s OK for a vacuum but it doesn’t really work when floors will be wet. 😊
i don't believe that you suppose to plug the holes in the water tank. Is what wet the pad. Some people glue them bad idea. I think they misunderstood your comment.
Tip: get the cloth damp before putting it on the vacuum. Otherwise you get streaks for the first few minutes while it's getting wet.
What cleaning solution would you recommend to use with this?
I figured that out lol

Yup it relies on an IR signal so it will avoid the area near the robot :)
Scott Hildenbrand, just got the A4 a few days ago. It does not seem to avoid the charging station.

The water didnt drip for me either. I just put a small hole in the rubber lid, it creates the vacuum for the water to drip. Works great now.

For moping, do you use just watter or can you add some other product to the water?
As long as it has the same consistency as water, it's okay to mix in cleaning solution. Don't add anything thick or it may clog the posts.
The manual says to put cleaner on the microfiber cloth and not in the water.
I'm running the mop on mine for the first time. It seems to be doing the job well.
Im confused, which one do I buy??

Yes it is washable :) you can hand wash it or throw it in the washing machine. Just avoid using fabric softener.
so it just pushes the dirty water all over the floor? it does not suck up the water?
the water isn't dirty, put in clean water
I think the instructions say NOT to use cleaning fluids, only water.

thanks for the video I am getting one this month thanks again have a bless day
Can you put floor cleaning soap in the water ?
ilife v5s pro mopping fluid ...is only water to use?
Thank you for this video. Helped me understand how to use this function.
Do u need to put soap in the mop?
Is there something that is used to close the water holes below ?
The Virtual Wall of v7 does it work with the v5s pro?
Unfortunately it will not work
Mopping doesn't work is there any particular button for mopping
Should we directly use water mopping or we should do vaccum first? and how much time does it takes to clean your room with both the process
Depends on the debris build up. For light messes, you can do both tasks simultaneously, otherwise vacuum first.
And does the robot clean every spot? How long does it take to clean your room?
How to plug in the wholes ?

Cordless Vacuum Guide thanks so much for the honesty
How much water we have to fill in water tank for 1800 sq. Ft. & tiles flooring
around 3/4s of the tank. Since it uses a gravity tank, the pad will be wet and should be enough to cover that area. I wouldn't recommend using it to clean a dirty floor.
Which is better, V7S PLUS or V5S PRO?
On carpet, go with the V7S Plus. The V5S Pro is only for hard floors since it doesn't have a brush roll.
@@CordlessVacuumGuide Thanks for the answer
does yours still work??
I haven't tried using it yet.
its lovely
Do you know what voltage?
It's auto volt - will work on 120 and 220 volts.

What I meant was plugging the holes with your fingers so water does not drip as you attach it on the robot
