The Russian speaking separatists in Ukraine used terror, bribery, and propaganda to coerce many in that area to stay silent or leave, and even then, they couldn't get all the Ukrainians in the Donbas to stop fighting them. Even in their fake "elections" they didn't garner 50% of the eligible voters to vote to rejoin Russia. So, that claim is obvious nonsense.

I finally read Mearsheimer’s interview. His argument is bad enough but Nick portrayal of it is juvenile.

Man it really is such a weapon in debate to not give a fuck what you're talking about, or if anything you're saying is true. Optically Nick seems so confident, shoots out so many incorrect, poorly contextualized and outright contradictory statements, that for someone without the intellectual ability to quickly sort through them, and without the historical education to know that most of what he is saying is either untrue or being incorrectly represented, then you may actually think he is making good arguments. Nick was bodied in the very first statement Destiny made. Destiny being cordial towards Nick doesn't mean anything- the implication that being friendly means Party A had the superior arguments over Party B is not exactly a strong defensive position for the weak arguments Nick was putting forward.
Nick couldn't even answer the fundamental question as to why a defensive pact was somehow tantamount to an attack on a sovereign nation. It's such a reach to imply a defensive pact is somehow an attack on that sovereignty - by that logic China is attacking the US by providing matieral support to North Korea. What is this whataboutism? NATO has nothing to do with the current crisis in Ukraine, so you can't really point to NATO chicanery from 2011 and make the comparison that Russia's aggression is justified in light of that. The only reason Ukraine even postured at joining NATO is *because* of the Russian aggression. I uniformly condemn any attack that injures civilians, so I have no issue condemning Russia for it's actions in Ukraine.
NATO is, ostensibly, a defensive alliance. It's mere existence is not enough justification for Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Again, this is an incredibly desperate reach. Besides, as we've already established, Ukraine isn't a NATO country. Even if the narrative that "NATO is an aggressive imperialist coalition" had any validity to it, and Putin's invasion of Ukraine was a preventative measure of stopping NATO encroachment, that still wouldn't justify the borderline genocide that's occurring.
You can't even justify the war on it's face without pointing to another conflict that is almost 11 years old at this point- and a conflict that didn't involve either Russia *or* Ukraine.

Glad Destiny has good takes on this, I appreciate his effort in this debate. He did really well, even if it would be pretty easy to win against Nick Fuentes, you can tell he did research and thought things out carefully.
This is a big point why I like destiny, I may enjoy his "trolling" behavior but when I see him preparing for debates like this one I find way more enjoyable, and with him streaming on Nick's streaming platform I am only gonna find it more enjoyable as him a lib being on a main stream service of right leaning conservatives.

I think this issue really requires two answers. If the question is moral, then clearly the Russian invasion is wrong due to many obvious reasons. If the question is an amoral question of power, then the strong (Ukraine and West together) do what they can and the weak (Putin and Russia) suffer what they must.

One point to add-on when Vaush was talking about how not every nuclear warhead is immediately deployable - A lot of America's 'first strike' nuclear capacity comes from submarine-based missile platforms. They're ready to pop-out of the water on-command anywhere in the world and glass an entire country.
And you only need one. It's why we agreed to decrease the size of our nuclear arsenal. You can smoke a country with one large nuke, or just elminate their capital if they're as big as Russia. On nuke is more than enough. No one wants even one dropped on any city, anywhere.

Ukraine pulled out of Minsk 2, and decided to invade Donbass. They thought the west will come help them, but the west just used them as cannon fodder to weaken Russia.

What does it speak to? This is an over three hour video where Vaush is just 99% silently playing a video game...barely speaks on the video he's just listening to, only responding to his gameplay which is what he's actually focusing on. To such an extent that I could no longer take comments on the debate seriously because it's not what he's paying attention to...This should not go on his main channel, it would not do well for the algorithm. This is not what people go to Vaush's main channel for and again, 3 hours is a long long video. This video doesn't even cut out him leaving to go to the bathroom, minutes of silence. Never seen that on his channel.
If you want him to upload a video on his main channel about this debate, which I'm assuming is the point of your comment...then he should make an actual debate review. That isn't shit. Especially considering the contents and people involved, the viewers and community it will attract. I constantly got distracted by him making comments about his gameplay, and this can easily be used against all of it.
While Vaush sure has made some strides, Nick Fuentes will always be Destiny’s most iconic nemesis.
Nick handily won this debate on every level. They got along better than ever in the q and a when destiny had to admit Nick knows his stuff.
