  • Contains images of the 2nd and third Orcades in random order. Most images are from my own collection of cards, slides, photographs and brochures. Some images have been donated over the years so there may be some copyright issues. Some are self crediting so the viewer can navigate to the relevant owner's site.     After joining CHUSAN in July 1967 my next Liner was ORCADES, I joined her as a B R S on 29/7/68 until 16/8/68 according to my wage account! just one trip! I then joined HIMALAYA as a cabin Steward until 1972 when I left Merchant Navy, Wonderful time on these lovely looking Liners, Given the chance I would do it All Over Again!!
