    John MacArthur is a humble man. He’s not scamming people to get money. He writes books which I have a lots of them and it’s no ones business what his income is. They are just trying to discredit him and tear him down. The only one he has to answer to God. Thank you Justin I appreciate you and your ministry. I finally ordered your DVD 📀 can’t wait to get it.

      Answering to the poorer than him is only answering to God and serving Jesus Christ if you understand Mathew 25 45. If a Pastor is not obedient to the teachings of Jesus Christ, how can they be treated as a man of God?. How can he be regarded as chosen by God?

      11 Now if perfection was through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the people received the Law), what further need was there for another priest to arise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be designated according to the order of Aaron? 12 For when the priesthood is changed, of necessity there takes place a change of law also. 13 For the one concerning whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no one has officiated at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord [a]was descended from Judah, a tribe with reference to which Moses spoke nothing concerning priests. 15 And this is clearer still, if another priest arises according to the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become such not on the basis of a law of [b]physical requirement, but according to the power of an indestructible life. 17 For it is attested of Him,
      “You are a priest forever
      According to the order of Melchizedek.”
      18 For, on the one hand, there is a setting aside of a former commandment because of its weakness and uselessness 19 (for the Law made nothing perfect), and on the other hand there is a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God. 20 And inasmuch as it was not without an oath 21 (for they indeed became priests without an oath, but He with an oath through the One who said to Him,
      “The Lord has sworn
      And will not change His mind,
      ‘You are a priest forever’”);
      22 so much the more also Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.
      23 [c]The former priests, on the one hand, existed in greater numbers because they were prevented by death from continuing, 24 but Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. 25 Therefore He is able also to save [d]forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

      I have the utmost respect for J.MacArthur but I am sure he would wholeheartedly agree with this - man is only the messenger bearing a seed. It is God who provides the increase. If the seed is good and falls on good soil it will grow. When I was first being saved I did not know where to turn so I tuned in Kenneth Copeland because he was available. I quickly found I did not hear my Lord's voice although there were morsels of truth intermixed with what he said. But he had no negative effect on the strength of my faith. It is the Word that counts - not the messenger. So when beloved pastors fall prey to sin, it does not necessarily reflect badly on what they taught - just that we are all sinners and fall far short of who we should be.

    May we not put any man up to high. Even John McCarther it seems he is lifted up as infallible by some. I see people as followers of JM which we should not do. If Ravi could fall if Peter could deny Christ why is JM above them.
    Psalm 118:8-9. Be very careful all of us as God will have no one lifted up or defended above him. It's as if the followers of JM can not fathom him ever doing anything wrong nor teaching anything wrong. If that is you then JM has become your JC.
    Just careful church. Humility is the greatest sign of maturity. Even Paul called himself the chief sinner.
    My two cents.

      Scott Kraniak, it is not that John MacArthur can't/doesn't sin. It's more about the lifestyle of John MacArthur being so different than Ravi's especially since John MacArthur is a member of a church and under the authority of church elders and deacons who watch over the flock for signs of sinning and unholy behaviors. Ravi spent long periods of time in Asia and out of town being away from the watchful eyes of a congregation and church leaders. I am not even certain that Ravi was a member of a church.
      But one other thing which seems more important from reading the report provided from his own ministry's investigative team is that Ravi's sins were accumulating over a long period of time and it was more like a pattern of his living over time, a lifestyle. Whereas, John MacArthur may sin but his lifestyle is holy, set apart from worldly living.
      Another important point to know is that anyone who "follows" (learns from) John MacArthur would NEVER substitute John for Jesus Christ (JC as you disrespectfully call my Lord and Savior).

      John MacArthur is not afraid of men, that's why he is under fire. Any man that stands as firmly on his convictions in God and God's sovereignty is a threat to those who are weak in faith or have no faith. Why? Because nothing can truly harm those who are not afraid. God is for them. And if you have the Holy God of the Universe standing with you, you have nothing to fear. John knows that if they grind his name in the ground, it doesn't change who Christ is. And he is about setting Christ on the top of the pedestal, not himself. We all need to take a page out of John's book. And his financial wealth is furthering God's work in this world. After so many years of faithfully preaching the truth to the world, John deserves the ability to be rewarded. Men like him are examples of Christ. They are priceless.

If he consistently calls out false teachers like Copeland and Olsteen and condemns Ravi Z. , he should be big enough to defend himself and give a retraction for statements like this Mark of the Beast controversy . That fact that he always has other people as his “spokesman “ doesn’t say much for his accountability or humility regardless of how humble you continually say he is.

      John MacArthur has much in-depth understanding of scriptures than other pastors. The fact is someone asked him if taking the mark of the Beast would be an unpardonable sin. His answer, in short, was no. Though there is a stern warning against taking the mark of the Beast in Revelation 14, the sin is not categorically said to be unpardonable. (That would contradict Matthew 12:31.)
      Yes, Revelation 14:9-11 says, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God....” But the Bible also says, “Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). In short, all sin carries the threat of eternal doom. But only one very specific sin is ever said to be unforgivable. Any sin that is repented of is forgivable. Immediately after declaring all fornicators, drunkards, and swindlers unfit for heaven, the apostle writes, “Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11). After saying, “Whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven,” Jesus famously forgave Peter, who denied Him before men. Revelation 19:20 indicates that multitudes will take the mark of the Beast because they are deceived. Scripture does not say that they are thereby automatically hardened forever against repentance. So the taking of the mark is not a final, absolute certainty of damnation that seals and fixes the eternal destination of the person. In fact, if one were to read Revelation 15:2, the idea of victory over the mark of the Beast is clearly implied, And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. Couldn’t that “victory” spoken about be those who may take the mark, repent upon hearing the Gospel. Does this mean that someone who has taken the Mark might yet be converted before it was too late? Yes, but no one should ever take the Mark-- much less, take it with the mental reservation that they will repent of it later-- for "ye know not what shall be on the morrow" (James 4:14). However, if repentance was morally impossible for all who had taken the Mark as in (Rev 16:2....upon the men who had the mark of the beast....) then why report that the hearers "repented not" in the subsequent verses (Rev 16:9, 11), if their repentance would not be accepted?

    • @vanillacreem816
      @vanillacreem816 3 года назад +1

      @@Rubysay233 I see what you are saying but that is not the same thing. Yes sin is sin , but taking the mark of the beast will involve worship of the Antichrist so no one will take it ignorantly. It will be an act of worship and scripture makes it very clear that those who take it have sealed their eternal fate, no turning back. Can’t change what God word says. McArthur is not above God’s word ( though some think he is) and nor is it within his authority to “modify” or give an alternative meaning to what scripture says.

      Answer: Yes, it is ( forget about Matthew 12:31), or No, it isn’t, because God said it in Matthew 12:31.

    John MacArthur is a man of God. I have a great deal of respect for him. His books are awesome too! God bless you brother Peters.

    Both you and MacArthur have fruits all over in Asia as well. May God continue to bless your ministries.
