    Go Mark! Reminds of when dad and I used to go flying our gyro-copter in the desert in the 70s with the gyro club. He/we made the worlds first 2 seat gyro-copter and metal-fiberglass composite rotors...before 1968

      Oh, man - you are living my dream. Did you design and build this or did you go the kit route?
      Looks extremely stable and nice and responsive. If you're going to offer plans or sections I'd love to know.
      Stay safe!

      @@larrymorley8968 The Mirocopter SCH-2A is manufactured in Slovenia and is not offered as a kit. They fabricate, assemble and test-fly before it is shipped to you. There is some reassembly required but that takes less than a day to do. Once reassembled it is ready to fly. It is VERY stable compared to a regular helicopter! Thanks!

    Nice video! Question, It seems like in the video that the stick seems to be shaking a bit. Is that because the blades my need rebalanced? When I build my A/W 95 thee stick controls seemed really smooth with really no vibrations. I was really shocked about that because I figured it would of been a lot worse.

    • @coaxman
      @coaxman  4 месяца назад +1

      @@larryrodziewicz8437 Thank you Larry. Yes, I noticed that too in the video. What is strange is that I don't feel that vibration and my hand is not numb from vibration after the flight is done. I'm not sure why it looks like it is vibrating that much because the helicopter feels smooth.

    Nice video. Why do coaxial helicopters fly so low all the time? Is autorotation not as good as a single rotor?

    • @coaxman
      @coaxman  2 месяца назад

      @@yukon4511 auto-rotation is actually better in a coaxial because the rotor system has more inertia and the decent rate is slower than a single rotor system. I am about 300 to 400 ft above the ground during this flight. I could easily fly higher if I wanted to.

      @coaxman Thank you for the reply. Good to know about autorotation. I've watched so many chinese viideos where they are flying at tree-top level, I had to ask. When I was flying helicopters, Hughes 300/500, I felt I had a better choice of engine-out options when I was above 1000".
