I did some research and realized this scooter is just about one of the best ones on the market in terms of being affordable, while also being one of the fastest scooters, it’s also well built and sturdy, AND lightweight. I’m only 120lbs (9 stone) so for me, this scooter absolutely flies. Which is good for making rapid getaways from cop cars when they catch you riding. Just zip off down an alley or into a park, let’s you slip right through their fingers.
I. Have this scooter and is a great buy at the price point. I use only for going round parks with my 10 year old son who uses his kick scooter. It handles pavement, grass and gravel with no problems and the ride is plenty smooth enough. The range is good too 2 days easy on full charged battery. I don’t use on main roads with traffic etc and would honestly say it’s not built or suitable for that environment, but for pulling out the boot of your car and flying round really large parks or open spaces it perfect.
After extensive research I got this one. Can’t believe it’s been two years out but other than people complaining about the noise everything else works out. The oversized platform is very welcomed as is the the double shocks. The tucking away handle bars are unique. I can keep this in the trunk of the car and use it for fun at parks and tourist areas.
you should never drain a lithium ion battery I've been using 18650 batteries for about 6 years in torches, once they are drain completely they will not recharge,I don't think it's possible to drain it completely in a scooter because it shuts off at certain voltage, if it's left in a discharge state for long periods you cannot recharge, individual batteries you can spike with 12v for 1 second, and it wakes them up
@@niteblaster1 It's good to know. If the scooter is fully charged and left unused for long time, do you recommend recharging every few months or at other intervals?
I have done a range test on mine and i travelled a range of 12 miles (19 km) with a fairly constant top speed of 11 mph (17.7 km/h) on a good surface with only a few slight inclines. This was on speed setting 3 and full throttle. I was panicking a bit at 6 miles because the battery was only showing two cells, so I turned back. When it got to 12 miles there was rapid battery loss and almost no power left at 12.2 miles. I am 80kg so you could probably get a bit further if lighter or going a little slower. I might try the same route on speed settings 1 and then 2 to see if this increases the range.
Ahaha you’re driving it like it’s an RC Jake! LOL It looks really fun! I wanted to try one when I visited Canada, but I’ve never got the chance! They look cool
I just bought this scooter and still having trouble folding it, the brakes jerk a lot and I feel like I could fly off, maybe just have to get used to it, but it is very light, 25 lbs, so that helps... Rides descent, quick acceleration, descent handling, but it is very noisy, but for 350, you get what you pay for, still undecided if I keep it
How do you get the red lights on the sides of the standing-area to turn on does anybody know? Also, what does the number with the box next to it mean, just below the battery symbol on the screen. Mine was at 39 when I got it and is now at 36. I initially thought this was the battery.
Jake, I am going to reach out on your socials for your wisdom. I have this scooter. I am having trouble right now with front wheel alignment. I have to have the handles tilted to the left for the wheel to go straight. We have adjusted/tightened as much as we can find. We are thinking the issue is down by the rubber collar by the wheel. Any thoughts? Thank you!
