Richard Behal organised the disruptions to the visit by ‘Princess ‘Margaret in Ireland.

In 1964, two years before the 50th anniversary of the 1916 Easter rising, Richard Behal was instrumental in organising the disruptions to the visit by ‘Princess ‘Margaret and her husband ‘Lord ‘Snowdon to Ireland. The disruptions included an explosion that cut the electricity supply to Abbeyleix Castle during the ‘Royal ball’.
