Totally awesome!! I did a Dutch pour on a canvas that someone near me discarded. It was a 30"x40." I did it all in house paint. It came out great! It's hanging on the wall under the patio cover. I also did a dirty pour with the same paint on an 8"x10" canvas. It came out really nice too. It's also hanging on the patio. I've been doing Dutch pours on tables that I made. And a swipe on another. This kind if painting is so addictive, I want to paint anything I can!! Take care Marc. See ya on the next video! :)
Brilliant tutorial made to look so simple. The problem is after seeing so many "simple" demos I haven't plucked up the courage to attempt one. The first attempt at balloon smudging turned out to be a disappointing failure and has discouraged me from attempting anything new. I have so many canvases, paints and accessories and have to justify over-capitalising. Thank you. The background music was so appropriate.
You sat in a ferrari when you were just getting your driver's license Richard 😊 The ballon dip is not easy 😊 i would recommend a puddle pour at the beginning, or straight pour, get a feeling for the colours first. You are absolutely right, it looks much simpler than it is. But that is the exciting thing about it and not negative. i have done hundreds of pourings and believe me, i can never know 100% what it will be in the end. 😊👍

Those golden paints are beyond most people’s budget I think! Beautiful but so ridiculously expensive. Sort of makes the cheap house paint idea...not cheap.
Did you decide that you didn't like the gold? It's still gorgeous, I only wonder "what if?" about how all of the colors would have looked together. Now I need to find out on my own, if I can.
The paint you pour in last into the cup is the first to disappear as you tilt. In this case way too much paint was used and therefor had to be overstretched leaving about half the colours used. If you want to keep most of your colours use less paint in your cup.

Thanks a lot Teresa i appreciate that very much ! 💕 You will find the mix in the description of each video. The consistency is almost always the same... about like warm honey. With the mixing ratios it is always about the main ingredients like Pouring Medium or Floetrol, water is always added additionally until the right consistency is reached. 😊👍 But of course you're right... I am already thinking about a solution to provide more detailed information about the individual steps of the work.
I think I will try this without all the colours on the top of the cup, maybe just plain black. They were all lost off the side of the canvas and underneath and the blue, white and a little black you put in first are the only things showing. It turned out lovely though.

I have now made about 10 cloud pours with this mixture before I show it to you, the mixture works 👍 it must not stay too much color on the canvas. if the color is too thick it will crack when drying. 😊👍 but not every house paint is the same, even with the colors. i tried the same with the house paint in black and it did not work. just try it 😊

😁👍This is pouring... you have an idea and an imagination, but whether you can actually implement it only becomes apparent in the end. if too much paint remains on the canvas, it will crack and break when drying... this is how it happens that we lose colours that we would have liked to have had on the canvas. Die Spectrum Farbe ist von "Action" ich habe verschiedene Mischungen getestet. Wenn du diesen Cloud Effekt erzielen möchtest dann mische es mit 1/3 Pouring Medium, Floetrol oder Glue funktioniert auch. Das Interference ist nahezu unverdünnt, weil es ansonsten zu dünn wird, da ist wirklich nur ein kleiner "Schuss" PM drin 👍

Und die Farben mische ich 50g zu 50g Medium. Je nach Konsistenz mit etwas Wasser. Is alles nicht so einfach. Habe mit dem original Satin Enamel auch noch keinen Cloud Effekt hinbekommen. 😳 Da weiß ich das Mischverhältnis auch nicht. Habe schon sehr viel ausprobiert und es will einfach nicht klappen. @@kamelie9555 Genau so Kamelie, allerdings habe ich mit dem Goya Medium nicht die besten Erfahrungen gemacht, da kannst du lieber das Artist Junior nehmen. Man muss ein wenig testen und sich rantasten, allerdings geht das mit dem Housepaint wesentlich besser als mit dem Satin Enamel, da es nur einen Bruchteil kostet und nicht so schmerzt wenn es nichts wird 😊👍 Das Housepaint ist relativ "aggressiv" und deswegen braucht es mindestens dieses Mischungsverhältnis. Wenn du mit dem Ergebnis nicht zufrieden bist dann gehe im Vergleich ruhig direkt auf 1:1 im Mischungsverhältnis. So siehst du am besten wie das Housepaint reagiert und kannst für dich das optimale Ergebnis finden. 👍

I know it sound crazy. But saves me alot money with experiments 🤫. Thats why i am still experimenting with ratio's
It's beautiful don't get me wrong but it would have been interesting to see with some orange in it. Just didn't make sense watching layer the cup the last half of paint was trash on the table. Seems silly to waste your paints if all ya need is filler . Beautiful turn out honestly love it but confused about the pour orange.

That happens.... it´s a part of the game... sometimes you lose colors because you have to make a decision... too much paint on the canvas breaks and cracks when it dries 🤔😊
Very confusing as your tin of house paint is called lacquer, here in Australia paint is paint and lacquer is what we put on wood to seal it and stop it fading ?

Why is it so often in ring pours that the last colors get lost? Why bother with them ? Why not just add pouring medium without paint if you lose it anyway? This is not just for you i have seen it in many pour artist's work?

Recently i started using action satin wall paint as cussion works much better ( white black color was very unsuccesfull)
I use about 70gr paint 20 gr floetrol 15 gr water and 10 gr liquitex but all time experimenting with finding perfect combination

It's beautiful don't get me wrong but it would have been interesting to see with some orange in it. Just didn't make sense watching layer the cup the last half of paint was trash on the table. Seems silly to waste your paints if all ya need is filler . Beautiful turn out honestly love it but confused about the pour orange.

That happens.... it´s a part of the game... sometimes you lose colors because you have to make a decision... too much paint on the canvas breaks and cracks when it dries 🤔😊

Very confusing as your tin of house paint is called lacquer, here in Australia paint is paint and lacquer is what we put on wood to seal it and stop it fading ?

Ah ok, of course i can't know this for every country, but i want to show that it is worth to experiment with the colors, it doesn't always have to be the expensive artist colors 😊👍

Why is it so often in ring pours that the last colors get lost? Why bother with them ? Why not just add pouring medium without paint if you lose it anyway? This is not just for you i have seen it in many pour artist's work?
The outer layers won't get lost if you first put down a wet base coat. The colors won't roll underneath, they will instead glide outwards as you tilt.
