Types of smoke in vehicle /धुआं क्यों आता है/white smoke/black smoke/blue smoke/grey/Engineer Khopdi
About this video---
In this video I have covered almost all type of smoke that vehicle emits. What is the reason of smoke and how we can fix at home or by mechanic.
White stream smoke- This appear during cold start of engine. Moisture in air get vaporised in combustion chamber and when these vapors pass though the cold silencer, condensation take place and vapor converts into water droplets . When engine heats up the silencer also heats up . Now these water droplets again vaporised and emits from exhaust . These vapors looks like white smoke. This smoke disappears when engine is heated up.
White Thick smoke - This is due to coolant or water mixture leakage at cylinder head due to damaged gasket/seal. If the cylinder head is cracked then also coolant leak take place and thick white smoke appears.
Solution - change gasket of cylinder head/ cracked cylinder head.
Grey smoke- It is due to leakage of gear box oil to engine due to gasket / seal damage.
Solution- Replace the gasket/seal
Black smoke -- 1. Rich mixture in combustion chamber . This is due to blocked air filter .
Solution - change/clean the air filter
2. Worn-out piston rings -- When your engine has completed lacks of kilometers the piston rings gets worn out and this cause the engine oil to enter into the combustion chamber and burn with the petrol/diesel. A burning smell also take place when this happens .
Solution - get the piston rings replaced
3. Faulty Tubrocharger -If your engine is turbo engine and the turbo is not functioning well then this may cause oil burning with fuel hence caused black smoke.
Solution - Rectify the tubro by a mechanic.
4. Excess oil in oil tank . If you put more engine oil in the engine i. e. engine oil above the max mark. Then this may cause oil entering in combustion chamber . Hence caused black smoke in exhaust.
