    The background behind you on the other side of the Company Canal is my family's land (as in we still own it in the present day and I have something like 1/7th of it). By watching this video I think I just discovered where my father was born (the physical location) Rita.

    I agree with @thestingerjosh, in the comment reply below!! Your videos should be shown in History class in Louisiana!! And even in Texas, since we are so closely bound neighbors. Me being a Texas-Louisiana girl, I appreciate your channel, my brother!! 🥰

    Since we're on the subject of Lockport, what kind of stories do you have about the tree? You know the tree, the one on 308 in front of the Career Magnet Center school. I've heard all my life that it's haunted, and despite quite a few attempts trying to cut it down or burn it, no one has been able to take it down.

      I’ve heard the same but I haven’t found any records or documents on it.

    How did Lake Fields become a lake?

    • @LouisianaDread
      @LouisianaDread  Год назад +1

      I’m not sure but I’m assuming naturally as it’s not man made.

      @@LouisianaDread I heard at one time it was a cow pasture and got flooded. I'm not sure how true that is.
