If you look beyond all the emotes, memes etc, I think he was actually give his ways to a whole new generation, and really if you look beyond painting etc, you can actually see the magic in what he did, which was enjoying his life. I wouldn't be surprised at all if people looked up his videos for the relaxing painting he did.
The release of the Bob Ross channel changed the twitch meta by a lot. No longer are EleGiggle spams dominant, now are different kinds of emotes like 4Head, DansGame and TriHard used aswell. The new variety of dank memes made twitch a site with more fun.
