I need to make a comment about the accusation that Bob gave money to rude boys and gangsters. Bob was very generous and helped the community. The rude boys and gang members that Bob grew up with in his youth would not have been excluded. Bob was in a unique and blessed position where he finally had the resources to help people in Jamaica, and he did it. Peter Tosh did not attain the level of financial success that Bob reached, so Peter may not have been able to give money the way Bob did. And if Peter used to give, and was no longer doing so, then that was his right. He should not have been targeted and murdered because of it. It is so very disgusting what we black people all over the world do to one another.

From the trio. Mr Blackwell said in an interview due to social situation back then in the 60s and 70s . A light skin mixed breed Bob Marley would be far more accepted worldwide on tours etc. so Mr Blackwell invested one million in Bob Marley through promotion and having to palm off radio announcer to play his music. And this man Blackwell had influence and ties in England and America. It was easier to promote Bob than Peter, because Peter was controversial and confrontational. He would not compromise his integrity or morals, but constantly expose government's injustice etc. one million back then is like JMD50 million today. with that kinda promotion Bob must become a superstar. This didn't set too well with Peter. Bunny now settled down to a more back seat roll in the band. But Peter was the man that is not blinded by money, fame, nor prestige. He'd rather sacrifice these to be the voice and leader of the voiceless and underprivileged.. History reminds us that he sacrificed a seventy thousand dollars concert in Israel, because Israel was selling guns to support the apartheid in South Africa . Peter Tosh is the real revolutionary in the Wailers band. I pray you listen to Peter Tosh's speech at the One Love Concert in Jamaica. He insulted the government of the day calling them the vampires that are robbing the Jamaican nation and resources of jamdown. That was the first time anyone did that to the face of the leader,the opposition and the various Parliament members in Jamaica. Nearly the entire house of representative was present. TV One used to have episodes about famous musicians the show was called '' Celebrity Crime Files '' and on that episode ( Peter Tosh ) they mentioned the events that led to his death. Peter Tosh went on the JBC Radio station and talked about how record labels owed him millions of dollars money that he never received and everybody in Kingston heard about that so Lepo and his friends rode inna taxi and the driver was waiting for them in the corner and that's when that disaster happened.

One afternoon in the summer of 1987, some days before Peter return to Jamaica from the USA, Barry G interviewed him live on his 2 to 6 super mix afternoon program on JBC radio during that interview Peter told Barry G and listeners that he had a multi million dollar law suit against the recording company EMI In the USA courts. Peter returned to Jamaica shortly after. Seems men thought he had returned to the island with millions he spoke of on the radio or it was a hit coming from elsewhere.
