Rereading is so important to me! I know there are people who never reread anything or rewatch anything and I truly don't understand how you could actually like something and never want to revisit it!

So good to hear someone articulate this notion of being easily persuadable. Something I battle regularly, particularly in politics!

Congrats on 10k! I found you after reading “my year of rest and relaxation” and going wtf did i just read wth just happened to me and found your review for it and it’s been a delight ever since.
I also can’t think of a great answer to the travel q. Most of my fav stories are set in crap towns in middle america that I’d never want to be in, then the protagonist escapes to nyc which is my fav city to visit. But i asked my husband and he immed responded “the beach” from “the beach” 😂

Hey I have a book recommendation. Ham on Rye by Charles Bukowski. It's his fourth novel and it is based on his childhood. Bukowski's fiction is based on his life so you can say his novels and short stories are autobiographical fiction. He's my favorite. :)

9:29 If you or anyone else likes the idea of reading a single book in order to have a very good grasp of another language after finishing it, I highly recommend having a look at ASSIMIL books, they have French and other languages and are fun to read. :)

hi have you heard of storygraph? It’s an alternative to goodreads that isn’t owned by amazon and I’ve liked it so far!
leena norms is a booktuber I really love and I think you’d like, I’m really picky about booktubers myself. I did literally just subscribe to you which is a great sign because I’m so picky! And I love leena so highly recommend!
And if you’re into contrarian content, the house that jack built is a movie that you might like and that’s really wild! It is kind of a heavy horror comedy and if you end up watching it I’d love to hear what you think!
