Love Malawi! Been twice now. First trip (1989) was a back pack trip with my brother and varsity mates before there was the new north road. Hitch hiking on trucks. Second trip was 2019 when I took my wife and two daughters there from Cape Town overlanding via Zambia. They fell in love. Do you think the Troopy would make those switch backs to Livingstonia?
Question, I know the Grenadier’s recommendation is a premium gas rating of 91 octane (US) but can run as low as 87 octane. Curious, what rating of gasoline are you running thru Africa?
@@ExpeditionPortal do you have to self filter the gas or is it ok to just use? If filter can you show in one of your future videos more about that kit? I really like the light frame you used to make a level deck to sleep inside the vehicle.
The mentorship on offer during this series is exceptional! Thank you Mr.Brady.
Thank you. I appreciate the feedback on the format.

Absolutely! The road was likely cut with a Troopy LOL
😢
I love the wooden model! Buying hand made trinkets from the locals certainly keeps food in their bellies! Good on ya!
And it was so well made! Sits proudly in my office now
Really enjoying this trip so far.
Thank you. I am so grateful to be traveling Africa.
Great video,
I'm Adventure Travel envious!
And yes, the Super Siphon is amazing and makes refueling from cans so simple.
Thank you Jeff.

How much fuel ⛽️ 😎 would you pack, now that you have experienced the trip?

I always tried to get the best fuel possible, but actually ran many tanks at 85 octane. Not recommending it. . . but I did LOL
