This is humility. When you immerse your self with the local people and their culture. Rather than sneer or shy away from things unfamiliar. This is why you are embraced wherever you go. Take note others. That dance reminded me of the dance of the Dogon of Mali. With their beautiful crimson attire you must visit the Dogon too. But let me not take the limelight away from our amazing cousins in Malawi. After all Malawi is the home of the amazing William Kamkwamba
I spotted Maya as he arrived at Mpale in the total darkness😅 much love man❤ only if I had the liberty to stay around for the dances on the following day❤❤ much love for the rest of the TEAM.
Big up your self wode I really appreciate and enjoy your work bro I am from Jamaica living in the USA and I have been watching your videos over three years now and I really love the work bro keep it up blessings
See! That’s one thing I like about you. You listen to us. Enjoy Mangochi. If you get to Nkopola Lodge, pass greetings to the Beni Dancers there, if they are still performing. Zikomo kwa mbili bwana Wode Maya.

Oh WODE! This village balanced life in this village. In this country. They are showing things that must be learned, how to survive, work together, be Serious, and LOVE! I REALLY LIKE THIS COUNTRY and I LOVE THIS VILLAGE. 💚💚💚💜💜💜🪶
I love it when you try everything in every culture and country you visit; the food, the dance, the games......... And this makes you unique. Well-done Maya
Thanks @wodemaya for always showing the best in our communities. I started a cultural center 4 years ago to show case how positive values, but was limited to so many ideas. But you videos have enriched me to expand and improve my networks to better my community, country, and Africa. One ❤❤❤❤ my brother
I am going to Malawi early next year for school, and these videos are very helpful in preparing. There is not a lot of information on Malawi as it is not as big of a tourist destination as some of the surrounding countries, and I greatly appreciate you highlighting some of the nuances of this country's culture. Makes it easier for me to be a good guest!
It's new to me, bicycle a must have in the family, wooow Maya really had fun in the village 😊 I remember my primary school era, we used to do grass math as an activity
What Maya goes through before he bring us content is hard and very tidies, God bless you for the love you have for Africa and Africans around the globe , You are a real Africa Ambassador ❤❤
Maya, thanks for bringing Africa closer to all Africans within and outside Africa.. i have explored many African Countries in your channel. Big up Bro, Greetings from South Sudan..

Brother wodemaya, thanks so much for this video, I left home 2016, seeing this video makes me happy because this is where I grew up. All in all you're humble and you are such a vibe person may Almighty God enlarge your territory and grace thanks wodemaya
I would Love to visit this place in Malawi. I have been to Nigeria, Ghana was 2023 next year 2024 will be Jamaica, & Gambia. 2025, Malawi here I come! B1 ❤🖤💚
Mr Maya, more of village videos please. Lets preserve our precious simple organic traditional ways of life, so the next generations are not lost in the concrete jungles! 😊.
@tbdan3793 Yes! We are here, Maya leaves me amazed. Maya was destined for this mission he embarked on. Only God has to be in it to do this. What Maya is doing is not for average people. You need passion and divine orchestration to go to people and places in Africa to tell our stories most authentically. As you said! WE ARE HERE. #AfricanToTheWorld 🌍 Maya! We are here!!!!!! In spirit and in good intentions with prayers. 🙏🏿 #MoreBlessings 💕💕💕
Africa culture, as it insures the passage of cultural practices from one generation to another. Numerous songs and dances has been perfected by the traditional oral practices. God blessed Africa
It's incredible how we 🌍 share many cultural practices regardless of our location. I am from Guiné-Bissau (west Coast of Africa) and we have almost the same practice where they stay for two months, during holidays , the parents/carers bringing food to them, they go through circumcisions (the main reason), they learn about our african way of life, respecting elders and families and the whole community celebrate them once out with gifts and they wear traditional uniforms that identifies them as such. Male circumcision is a MUST here regardless..
Thank you so much Wode Maya, my knowledge about Malawi has expounded. The people look so happy and carefree❤🎉. Our boys truly need to learn before they become men of the society. Great lessons for them❤. Those are cool games😅
In Kenya 🇰🇪 traditional circumcision of males in their teens is a right of passage and there's only one tribe that is famous for not doing so. The language they are speaking sounds like lingala from DRC, some bantu, and swahili. Wode Maya those tiny fish are common and popular in Uganda 🇺🇬 and western Kenya 🇰🇪. Enjoyed the tour. Shout out to our African huts 🛖 way better than houses here! East & Central Africans dance with their waist while West Africans throw their hands and legs up in the air ditto South Africans. Thanks for sharing Malawi 🇲🇼
Wode Maya, you are doing great job for us to know more about the culture of Africa.God bless you abundantly in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Amen (from mummy Weep Not Nigeria)
